There were posts on this before the reset, so here we go again.

Consider this the showcase for NaNoWriMo calendars for your computer wallpaper! I used one of these last year and it was great for motivation and served as a reminder that I should be writing!

I'll start with the one I posted a couple of weeks ago:

Thumbnail

It comes in a variety of resolutions (if in doubt choose something in the middle, widescreen is marked with: [w]):

Omg... That's awesome. I love the, "Sleep deprivation is good for the imagination" and "every time you stop writing a fairy dies".

Well, it doesn't have anything as neat as daily encouragements, but maybe a typewriter will serve just as well. :)

Oh man, Yoshi, that's pretty :D

Loving the daily encouragements one too. Both going on my flashdrive, so I can change them out or use different ones on different computers :D

The one with the phrases on it just replaced a picture of my best friends as my desktop background...No, I'm not a bad friend, just in serious need of motivation..

It's too good I have no where to put my nanowrimo word document icons (characters, outline, list of scenes etc)! I put them along the left edge... Love the wallpaper.

Thanks you guys. I'm going to set the first one as my background so I can see it as soon as I boot up my computer. I thought I was going to have to put in the numbers for every day myself, but now I don't have to. More time to write!

These are all amazing, but does anyone have any (or have an interest in making) any 75K ones? I would be sooo grateful to anyone who posted one.

Wow, there are some amazing calendars here! I've saved them all to my computer, so now I can procrastinate by debating which NaNo calendar I want to have as my background today...

I also took the liberty of searching the Deviant Art site for Khara House's calendar, as the download link seems to have been broken, so I hope she doesn't mind me sharing the link to its page in her gallery; once there, you can download the fullsize file by clicking on the icon of a monitor with a red screen on the left of the page. Here's the link: http://leftnwrite08.deviantart.com/art/Nanowrimo-Calendar-2009-139265054

Again, thank you to all of you who have created such wonderful calendars!!!

Covers both 50k and 100k daily goals; sized for my mac screen (1680 x 1050). Quotes at the top, plus one per week. I'm considering doing another one with a saying or quote per day.

To everyone who posted a calendar, they are all gorgeous and I can not decide which one to use. They are quirky, funny, inspirational and perfectly executed. I am quite envious of the brains that created them.

Now all I need is a story idea and I will be unstoppable.

To you calendar creators: how do you do the calendar part? I'm pretty handy with photoshop, but I've never tried to do a calendar. I want to do an alternate word count goal, but the ones others have done just haven't done it for me. I have a great collection of wallpapers... so how do I slap one of those incredible-looking calendars on top?
