Hello Idaho Elsewhere!

I hope you're all as excited as I am to start another noveling season. Whether you're a newbie or a returning wrimo, I want to welcome you all to this forum! First off, if you haven't affiliated with a region yet, please do so. Not only will your word counts be added to the region totals, but you'll also get access to the regional e-mails the MLs will be sending to inform you local events.

The region of Idaho Elsewhere, however, includes all the communities that don't already have their own ML. In this case, I strongly urge you to take the initiative to plan your own Nanowrimo events in your area. If you want to publicize one of your events, just nanomail me the date and location of your event and I can put it up on a calendar for you.

Whew, enough about the preliminaries. A little about myself: I'm Thea, the ML for Moscow. I'm currently a microbiology grad student at the University of Idaho. I've been doing Nanowrimo since 2001--which indicates that I'm either nuts or really, really persistent. If you have any comments or questions, feel free to contact either me or any of the other Idaho MLs and we'll be happy to help you.

And now, how about all of you? Anyone all ready to go yet?

I already introduced myself in the Rexburg thread, but I might as well do it here as well, so that everyone can see.

I'm Casey Jewels and this is my third year doing NaNoWriMo. I've won both of the previous years (though I almost didn't make it my first year) and plan on finishing this year as well. I'm doing a fanfiction this year, as I don't have time to work on another publishable novel.

I'm a freshmen at BYU-I and my interests include reading, writing, roleplaying (the written word kind), drawing, and werewolves. I write fantasy and have several short stories under my belt, but I've yet to finish an actual novel... However, I'm almost finished with last year's NaNo novel, which I do plan on publishing when I'm finished with it.

And... yeah...

I can't wait for November.

*does the happy it's almost time for NaNo dance*

Hi all! My name is Rebekah / Morel (I'll answer to either) and I'm the ML for the Coeur d'Alene area. As it says in my profile, I'm 23. This will be my 5th NaNo (third year as ML) and my 8th, 50k in a month challenge. I write Fantasy mostly, though every now and then I'll dabble in Sci-fi.

Besides writing I love classical fencing (the "shiny sword" kind, not "dig holes in the ground"), birds (I'm down to 20 of them now) and I'm a not to shabby Salsa dancer ;-)

Hi! I'm Julie, co-ML with the lovely Goloptious for Pocatello! This is my fourth year as ML, my sixth year doing NaNoWriMo. This year in addition to homeschooling the kiddos, I'M going to school full time for theatre and dance at ISU - should make for an interesting month, anyway! (Sanity is overrated, right?)

Hello all This is my fourth year doing nano and I have no idea what I plan to do this year. For the first time my mind is completely blank. A little about me: I'm a freelance writer/stay at home mom/farmer and my writing time is limited to an hour or so before bed every night. I live near Twin Falls and hope there will be people in the area willing to get together this year.

Hey, I'm Kendra. I'm 22 and I'm from Twin Falls, currently living in Rexburg going to school (will be home for Thanksgiving week, and will be totally up for a write-in then somewhere if people want to). I'm a senior at BYU-I. This is my second year doing NaNo, and I failed miserably last year. I'm hoping to make up for that this year by not only winning, but also finishing my book.

Hi, my name is Becca and I'm from Twin Falls. It sounds as though there are a couple other NaNos in the area, so I'd love to get together for write-ins. I think we have one planned for Sunday, November 1st, 3pm at Java (in an earlier thread).

This is my third year doing NaNoWriMo (I won last year). When I share I'm participating again, my friends and family either respond with "NanoWHAT" or "You're doing THAT again?" But I'm pretty sure I'm a lifer now.

I'm really not sure what I'll be writing this year. I have a basic idea, and think I'll be trying out first person this year, but beyond that I haven't done much planning. My big goal is to get my household in order before November 1 so I can just focus on writing. So, lots to do. Better get to it.

Happy plotting!
Becca

Hello Twin Falls writers. I'm on my third year attempt. One year successful and one year not so successful. I'll enjoy another shot. If I'm able to I would enjoy meeting other NaNoWriMo writers. Good luck to all of you.

Howya, from the fabulous Silver Valley...this will be my third or fourth try to sustain the enthusiasm/stamina for 50K scribbling. As a recluse I have lots of time, but not a lot of self discipline. I don't leave the Valley unless I have an emergency or a flight to catch, so am sorry to say I'll miss meetups and loot/goodies distributions *sob*, but I'm always around in spirit, and as close as a keyboard. Reclusive does not mean unfriendly. Good luck to all.

Hey all! I'm a Twin Falls writer, sort of, because I am really close to the area. It's my second year doing this, and hope to have the same success as last year. This year I expect myself to put out something far more polished. If anyone wants to add a friend to keep motivated feel free to buddy me. :)
