Thought I'd make this thread since our last one was reset.
So who's all coming?
I'll try to be there!! (Try is the key word. If not, I will be there next sat)

Unfortunately, I can't come this week. I have pre-game practice with the Hundred for the Ohio State game! >.> Yay for us probably getting our butts kicked. Oh well, at least we get to play Ricky Martin!
However, I'll be able to come next weekend, and I'm also willing to lead an alternate group at Wells on Tuesday evenings.

I plan to be there.
(As for Tuesday meetings: I don't think I'll be able to squeeze those in this month, as I am trying to work ahead a little for November. But during NaNo, I'm sure I'll make an appearance.)

Not this Saturday, but when I can.
I think Gekisilver and I are going to organize a Wells Library one, just for fun. Saturday'll be the main one, but Tuesdays at Wells may be convenient for those of us on campus. Or not. Anyway, I'll see about finding a spot and post later. 8PM in the West Tower, probably.

I'll be at Dark Carnival on Saturday. I also see a trip to the book sale in my future. But hopefully I can make the next one.

I'm actually feeling sick (threw up this morning no less!!) but I still have to go to work, go figure. Depending on how I feel, I may or may not be able to come. :(

OK, anybody who feels like it can join me at the Wells Library, 4th floor of the west tower, at 8pm on Tuesdays. Look for someone with long, blonde hair and a laptop. Maybe I'll make a sign.

Well, it looks like tomorrow isn't going to be happening. (Am I the only one who was planning to go for sure?) So I may just skip B&N and join the Wells Library party Tuesday night instead.

I'll admit I am not there. I've got a seminar paper due next monday and then i'll be out of town the next week. So the first few October Saturdays are not good for me. This deadline totally snuck up on me but I'll be there in November.

Today about makes me want to give Nanowrimo up.
Got off work at 3:30, drove as fast as I could, got stuck in stupid football traffic and was there until 4pm. Late, I started to panic, then stupid cops made me turn at Denny's and I got so frustrated, I parked at the old Colorado Stakehouse (Near Steak and Shake) and decided to walk in stead as with the traffic, and being made to turn, it would have took me forever to get there. I didn't realize how far away I was from the B&N. It took me an hour to walk. Halfway there I started to cry. As I mentioned before, I'm sick and my long lost asthma was deciding to peek up and I was feeling faint. I'm stubborn, so I told myself I got myself here, I better finish it! I feel like the stupidest person ever. How could I not have known I wasn't close?
It probably took over a hour. I tried to keep my head held high and it was with a little victory smile when I finally saw Best Buy, but I was about to die. Then I couldn't even find anyone and I felt sick. Did I walk for nothing and do I have to walk back?
Stupid football.
But as I was walking there, I started to chant "God give me strength" even though I'm very slacking in the religious department. >.<
Who shows up, but my sister. So i got a ride back to my car, but then had to go a different way home. Got lost. Used up almost all my gas. Now I can feel every joint, everything hurts. Not to mention, I forgot a coat, and I was wearing short pants.
I feel stupid, because I'm crying right now. I really tried to be there on time. I can't even find the will to plot on my own and I had a halfway interesting idea too, which people would think is freaky weird.
I gotta go find a new body.

I sympathize, Nekko. Get some rest and we'll try to meet next week. Or Tuesday, of course. And you're not the only one with plot up in the air right now. I never plan too much, so my current problem is setting.

Yeah, so I didn't go 'cause it sounded like no one else was going. :P We need to all be more determined to make it work next week! (Though it sounds like you were *really* determined, Nekko ... sorry you had such a sucky day!)
Anyway. Since I ended up writing my paper yesterday, I may have time to make it to the Wells 'plan-in' on Tuesday instead. I've never been up anywhere in the West Tower (I hang in the East Tower, where it's quiet and where all my cool Am Lit books live), so I'd appreciate it if you put up a nice big sign so I don't miss you. :P

Yeah, well, I'm very sorry too, Nekku, that it was so very hard.
There were actually two of us there, as you may have deduced from the various notes, and in fact we did eventually find each other after forty minutes or so.
Don't know if I can do Tuesday night Wells, but I'll try; and I'll definitely try for next Saturday.
Be well,
Marie

Thanks guys for listening to my rant! That was just not a good day!!
As for other meetings, right now, I won't be able to make the Tuesday ones for at least two weeks, and then after that I'm not even sure if I will go, because I'm not comfortable on campus, driving that is. I can't go to Sat meetings for the next two weeks either, because of my two jobs.
My free days are Thursday and Friday after 3:30 or 4, depending on where I have to drive. But this is just for the next couple weeks. After that i will be free after 3:30, 4 every weekday and any time on the weekends.
Take care,
Nekko

Ok, so I'm a newbie to NaNoWriMo, and I thought I'd come join you guys.
So far, I understand we are meeting weekly on Tuesdays, 4th floor of the West Tower at Wells at 8PM (correct me if this is wrong).
Are we also doing Saturdays at B&N at 4? Or was that just a one time thing?
Someone enlighten me please! :)

Here is enlightenment:
I believe we are just making it up as we go along.
So there seems to be lots of enthusiasm for Tuesday night and it seems to me that group is definitely happening.
And Saturday afternoons, I'm guessing, we'll figure out again maybe closer to this Saturday whether we have a group - I kind of think I'd like to go Saturdays but I'm not going to swear to it, but I was there last week and may well be again.
So - if you *want* to do Saturdays you can probably make it happen for others!
And people will get much more committed in November. After all, this is all just preparation!
OK, others correct or comment if you like!

Sorry I couldn't come yesterday, but I should be able to go next week and Saturday if we meet then.
I think it would be fun to meet twice a week like this, but I can't guarantee which ones I'll be able to go to every week. Usually both, though.
Is anyone else planning on repeating the Saturday get-together?

Hey are you still at B&N? I don't know when you got there or how long you're planning on staying.
I'm about to leave to come meet you guys (if there are multiple people there).
