How are the Athenian Nanos doing? I'm revving myself up for another go at this.

Good luck, everyone!

Pretty good, all in all. :) Definitely ready for Nano '09. Good luck to you, too!

Hey. I hope it goes well for you. I wonder if we all get together for the kickoff. They'll probably post the info. soon if so. Hope we all get to meet each other, or some of us at least. Good luck this year.

Hi! I'm actually a Winder NaNo, but I figure if there's going to be a write-in get-together thing anywhere, it'll be in Athens! I just moved here from Atlanta, but I still hope Athens does amazingly and a lot of us finish! *really, really excited*

Hi, everyone. I participated in the Greenville, SC region last year, so this will be my first time through with the Athens group. I failed utterly last year, but have high hopes for this time around.

Hello! I'm a writer living in Jefferson, GA. I'm looking forward to November 1st with excitement, but I'm pretty nervous, too. My comfort zone has been the short story for a couple years now, and although I've had a novel outlined for a year and a half, I haven't been able to write a single chapter. I'm going to change that!

I hope there is a meet 'n' greet in the near future; I'd love to meet some of you! In the meantime, please feel free to visit my online writing portfolio at http://www.heftynicki.writing.com. The site is a fantastic community of creative writers and if you are unfamiliar with it, I urge you to take a look. (Accounts are free, although with a paid membership you enjoy more port space and options [of course! :P])

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hey guys (and gals),

So I've written a novel before, but that took me like...15 months or so.
I'm excited to see what it'll be like to cram that into 1/15th the time.
I too am interested to seeing who can meet up some time.
It seems like the more people I tell that I'm doing this, the more pressure I'll have to do it.
Which is a good thing.

Another Winder Wrimo, here. My third year participating -- I failed miserably the first year and won last year. Totally stoked about this year. Good luck to everyone!

Hi everyone!
I, too, am a writer from Winder. This is my first year. I'm not sure what I should expect of myself. I will probably fail, but this should be fun! :)

I'm a first-time nano, busily chewing my nails. I write on and off and want to get to a more consistent "on." I hit the wall about 6 months ago on my novel, though I have characters, plotting and outline done. I'm looking for the shift out of analytical left brain and into the juiciness of writing. I am a member of the Clarkesville Writers Group, coming from the far reaches of Banks County.
