Hello
I guess everything gets wiped clean as of October.
Hoping that people are still planning on meeting at the North Hardin Library.
Also, are there any other places to meet?
Wondering if there are any Fort Knox Wives attempting the 50,000 mark?
Would love to hear from you and maybe meet up someplace.
Restaurants, libraries, "starbucks" at Barnes and Noble.
Can't wait!!!

Oh, NaNo, how I have missed thee.
Hi, everyone I haven't met yet, too. We should be friends!

Oh Hardin County wrimos, I've missed you all!
I hope everyone is doing well and has great ideas for this year! (I'm lacking in that department ><) I'm considering the recycle option again.
As for meeting, we are definitely doing meet-ups at the North branch of the library! It is across the street from North Hardin High School for those of you that are not familiar with the library. I've already talked to Mary (aka my boss) about having you all here (yep, I work in the library), and she said it was fine. We're both pretty excited about it. We're thinking of doing a kick off on Oct. 31st in the afternoon. Maybe 12-2pm or something like that. Would you all be interested? And then once Nano kicks off, I would like to maybe do write ins every week (if possible) I'm not sure about that yet. Please, please, please let me know if you all want to participate in this! We want a good turn out =) And on Halloween, feel free to come in costume (as long as it's nothing indecent of course) ;) There will be candy!
Let me know any ideas you all might have.
AND!!! WE HAVE WIFI NOW!!! WOO!!! Which means we have Skype for our dearly departed wrimo =p
And hello to everyone I don't know.
I hope we go as crazy with this thread as we did last year =)
As a very unimportant sidenote, I was VERY disappointed to see my post count back to zero. I died a little on the inside, I think.

Thank you Thank you.
I was getting worried that I would have to do a lot of driving n November to attend any write-ins
I would definitely attend the Write-ins at the Library and the kick off party.
Can't wait. And I hope more people respond to this.

I'm glad we have new people interested this year! We had a good group last year (bacon babies anyone?) and I hope that it goes just as well this year. Though I hope we get more writing done =p We're actually planning on doing timed word wars and little contests and everything. I'm pretty much in charge of the Nano shindigs this year, so if there's anything in particular that you'd like to see, let me know. I'll try my hardest to meet everyone's needs!

Hey Hardin County!
I'm playing around with Google Calendar-- want me to put a Hardin County Kickoff Party in yet? Or would you rather I wait until you have a firm time? Send me details when you have them. I'll try to join you virtually, at least for a little while.

It is official. We will be having a Nano kick off party on Oct. 31 from 12-2 pm at the North Branch of the Hardin Co. Public Library! We are located across the street from Noth Hardin High School in Radcliff. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask me! We'll have some goodies, and if anyone would like to bring in store bought food (our policy is that everything has to be pre-packaged!) go right ahead! Last year we did Sunny D and doughnuts (it was awesome) If anyone would like to bring food, please let me know so I can keep track! Also, feel free to come in costume! (I'm not kidding!)
We're going to have a blast. Really. I'm pretty freaking excited! =D

I'm up for Skyping then! I don't think I'll be at my Halloween party yet. ;]

If I dress up, I'm going to dress up as a Italian Mobster.
----------It's part of a project for my Honors World History and World Literature 10 classes.
I have to dress in a suit, with an Italian.. touch, per se.
So you'll probably see me in that. I informed my friend, Xiate, about it, she's psyched!
Then again, I can't blame her; I am too.

Leanne- I'm scheduled to work that day, so I'm going to be in costume! You won't be alone! I'm showing up as Abby from NCIS.
I'm so glad there are so many people taking interest in this! I think it's going to be pretty damn fun!
And yay for other people wanting to dress up! =p We will be passing out candy to trick-or-treaters by the way ;)
Anywho, anyone want to bring store bought/ prepackaged food for this shindig? If not, I'll run and get something. If you'd like to bring food or drinks let me know ahead of time.
I'm so stoked. Really. =D

Laura- YAY! I'm going as a werewolf like post change. haha. It will be epic. Anyway, if I have money I'll get something So I will try and let you know for sure before hand.
And Chelsy you know my plot. I changed up how I was going to write it though and I have a title so YAY! The knew way of writing it will make it so much easier and shorter since it won't cover like 30 years now.

I've never been to a kick off party before, and I think I'm definitely going to attend this one! I'm so excited to get to writing this year, and I can't wait to meet my fellow novelists :D
If there are going to be any more meet-ups, let me know! Expecially if there are going to be any in Barnes & Noble since that's like the only place I ever go to in Hardin County. (I live in Nelson).
:D Excitement!

Hello,
----------I'm a friend of YoungElder, and I participated last year, failing at about 25k. This year I am hoping to finish with 50k! And yes, what YoungElder says is true. I have been pumped for some time now for November to get here as fast as it can. I even have a count down started ^^ Anyway, its nice to have a group to sit and chat with. Last year because of being overseas it was a bit difficult with only my friend who got me started. We sat up all night writing trying to finish in time. Those were some good times. I can't wait till next Saturday and I will be coming to the library to have fun ^^ and go candy!
When I sit in my dark room, thoughts of you bring a small light that saves me until the morning comes to show me a new day.

Hi Everyone,
----------This is my second Nanowrimo, but my first here in Ky! I live in Nelson County but I would rather drive to E-Town instead of Louisville! I have no idea what my plot is going to be yet, but I do want to join in the meet-ups. I am super excited this year and I can't wait to start typing! Good luck everyone!

Wow. Hardin County's thread has so many more participants this year! I remember last year, it was pretty much the 5 of us (you know who you are) screwing around and making references to inside jokes from previous write-ins. ;)
I am so excited to meet all of the new people! We are going to have a fantastic time. If everyone shows up that has mentioned they'd like to come, we will have 12 people. That is awesome! And that's not even counting for the people that might show up without mentioning they'll be attending!
And I'm still planning on being here in costume. =D I can't wait to see everyone! I also have some pretty fun games planned involving some writing exercises and such. If anyone wants to contribute their own game ideas, feel free to share!
So this is what will probably be on the menu for the kick-off:
Doughnuts (Is this ok? Anyone have any suggestions? Let me know by Friday!)
Water
Coffee (possibly- I'll have to check with my boss on that one)
What else would you all like to drink? If you have any preference let me know by Friday!!!!!
