Who's up for a meeting/write-in on Monday evenings in November, somewhere around the Botanic Avenue area? (As you can see, I've already added these to the calendar.)
The venue is to be decided though - might be the same as last year, in Undaground on Dublin Road - suggestions are welcome.

I believe Speculator is organising something for Friday evenings too, but I'll let him post about that.

Right, we're fixed up for Monday evenings, 6:30 - 8:30, in Undaground cafe on Dublin Road (opposite the cinema). Although they don't normally do reservations, they'll keep some tables for us.
They do nice coffee and great paninis and pizza! Downside is no power points that I know of, so make sure you're well charged-up if you're bringing a laptop. I'll pack a multi-socket in hope though, just in case.

Looking forward to it! :)

I'm a complete newbie here so I might try to get along if I'm back in the city in time. Cheers.

I might try and get along - I'll definately find the place anyway.

I don't have a laptop unfortunately :( and I might feel like an oddball if everyone else does! lol

I think that I am getting hungry even just thinking about a pizza place.

Looking forward to seeing people and see how we are getting on with the writing.

A lot of us will have laptops, Cheryl, but others do write longhand. Don't be scared! :)

Sorry guys, I won't be able to make it for tonight's write-in. I've got a horrible migraine coming on and I need to go hide in a darkened room (thank goodness I got so far ahead yesterday!).

Hope you all have a productive and fun evening.

Sorry about the 6pm v 6:30pm confusion yesterday - entirely my fault as I'd got confused between write-in times in different places, and then gave everyone different information.
Not that it mattered in the end, thankfully. :)

For next week, the time on the calendar is still 6pm - I can change this if necessary. However, I won' t be there as I'll be home in Wales for some family stuff. Bruce will be there though to marshal you all (and probably talk less than me).

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to da Undaground tonight :(

If weather permits, I'll be at Thursday's reading in the middle of nowhere, aka the Lock Keeper's Inn, and I definitely be at the Blink Studio on Friday.

Enjoy the coffee, pizzas and desserts tonight and remember the fall of the Berlin wall 20 years ago!

Well I should be there tonight at Undaground. I found it very beneficial to my writing last week and enjoyed meeting with other people doing NaNo.

Looking forward to the tea and traybake already

Hope you guys have a good time! Sorry I can't be there, but I'll see you next week. Remind Bruce to give you any stickers you're due for your progress tracker. :)

I'm sorry for not being to make it after all. I am not feeling too well and thought it best to stay in.

Hope to make it for next week

Argh, guys, I'm bailing on another Monday write-in, because I didn't make it to Belfast today (headache + horrible weather != wanting to drive 80-odd miles).

I hope Bruce looks after you all (remind him about stickers for your progress cards) and I'll see you on Thursday or next week.

It was good seeing everyone last night despite the bad weather but it was worth it for the pizza.

Yes, it was great seeing everybody! And the very spicy pizza rocked - just the right food for this weather.

I did manage to get my neckwarmer finished and sent off in time! Ok, I only wrote a few words today, but hopefully, I get more done tomorrow!

How many times can I say 'argh' and apologise for not making Monday nights?

Hopefully this will be the last time (and with only one week after this, it damn well better). I'm rotten with cold and off sick from work, so not in Belfast. Didn't write a thing yesterday because I spent all of it in bed, so I'm hoping to get caught up a bit today - will be with you all in spirit, that's for sure!

Hope Bruce takes good care of you all, and I will be there next week (and also this Thursday) if i have to hire a helicopter to get me there.

I also have to send my apologies for tonight - like farfalla, I'm feeling under the weather, and better stay on my warm sofa! I was hoping I'd pick up during the day, but I'm still feeling as rough as this morning
:(

I also won't be making it on Thursday, because I am at a retirement party of two of my former work colleagues and it will also be a kind of reunion of many of the former workers (there'll be a lot of 'time flies' comments, I'm sure)

Have a good time tonight, while I'll be sitting here, dreaming of a spicy pepperoni pizza...

Get well soon farfalla!!!

PS: I am having a stall at this week's Stitch and Style show, so if anybody is looking for knitted accessories (me) or funky handmade outfits... :

Undaground closed early tonight, it was shuttered up by the time I got there.
:-/

So no write-in tonight, but writing at home instead.
