This post was originally done by Amy and Shannon, but was erased during the reset. Since I had it sitting in my inbox, I thought I'd put it back up for them to welcome the returning members. Again, this is totally not my post.

Woo-hoo!
We're about a month away (give or take a few days) from the biggest and
best writing challenge ever!
Soon we will have the perfect excuse to become single-minded,
self-absorbed and yes, even snippy for a full thirty days. We will not
only be artists, we will be Artists With A Work In Progress Under A
Ridiculous Deadline.
This year, your co-MLs are Amy (apurcell) and Shannon (shannondoah). In
the next few weeks we'll post a calendar of write-ins and meetups, we'll
share inspiring tips to help you get a jump on your word count (without
cheating, of course) and we'll generally check in to answer your
questions.
AkronNaNos are flung far and wide across the city and the surrounding
area. If there's a specific location you'd like us to hold a write-in
(i.e. the Panera worked great for you last year) chime in and let us
know!
Otherwise we'll be left to our own devices (or should we say vices)
which definitely include coffee, beer, and wine...and not necessarily
in that order.
We can't wait to get this party started!

Kevlord,
We can consider Tuesdays but Thursdays are probably out. Shannon and I are in the Akron Writers Group and we meet every other Thursday so it'd be tough to schedule around that. I'll throw an email out there and we can take a vote.
