I'm back in the region and going for my NaNo hat trick this year. Definitely plan to be at William Street for the kick-off.
If you're so inclined, please check out my "NaNovelist Woes" video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tT_AqEcX2Ok
It's a cautionary tale about the challenges of trying to edit a novel draft which was written during National Novel Writing Month.
Full disclosure: The video is my entry into a "scholarship contest" to win a spot in an online novel revision course which is launching in January. If you view my video and give it a good rating, I get points towards winning the contest. If you're interested in entering the contest yourself, follow the link to the course page for contest details.

Greetings
I've heard of this for a couple of years but always missed it. So I'm ready and raring to go in November. Can't make the party though, plans are to go to Scarey Point (Cedar Point) or I will have to work.
I'm sitting here thinking eh, I should be able to do it. We shall see when I'm sitting, slobbering at my keyboard, pulling out my hair at the end of the month.
Looking forward to it.

I came here to chew bubble gum and kiix sass...and I'm all out of bubble gum.

Howdy.
Been a long time writer, but this will be the first time I'm actually in the right frame of mind to try and do the NaNo thing. Tried once before, but didn't even hit five thousand before I gave up.
Sorry I'll miss the start party, though. Got a Halloween party to head to that night. And then I've got a birthday party on the 2nd, so I've got my work cut out for me.
Anyways, good luck to everyone.
