Who is excited? I know I am! :D
If you are new, then you should introduce your self.
If your not new, remind other people so the newbies can brace them selves for when we meet face to face.

Hello! I am Coralie, and this will be my 3rd Nano, and I am so excited. Nano has pulled me through really REALLY hard times, and I can't wait to get to do it again.
I made a ton of friends through nano and I can't wait to see everyone again! Yayyy!

Hi Coralie. I've been excited for a long time. o_O
And I'm not new. This is my third NaNo as well. : ) [Although I've only one once. : P]
NaNo's freaking awesome. And got me some really good friends as well. > /// <
Can't wait to see you guys!

I'm Krissi and this is my second NaNo!
I am so excited, I spent all of yesterday clapping and squealing as I updated my novel info. I have started a NaNo box (so far all I have is the box) and my background on my computer is set to a NaNo calendar! I also started to plan my NaNovel in July.
Can't wait to see everyone again too!

Heya everyone! I'm Sam, this is only my second time doing NaNoWriMo officially. I've been excited since August! Though me and the Monkey played with the idea of doing an unofficial NaNo in June :P
Without NaNo last year I'd be in a bad place, '08 was a terrible year for me but it brought me some absolutely wonderful things.
I'll warn you, I'm competitive when I find a rival! :) Last year it was Coralie, and I hope I'll have the honour again.
So here's to this years NaNoWriMo! :D

Heya, folks, I'm Abby, for those who don't remember me or have never met me. XD This is gonna be my second year of NaNo. I'm determined to win again, grr!
...Though, admittedly, I'm caught between two ideas right now and I'm having trouble trying to figure out which one I'm gonna do come November, ahaha...

Hi Everyone,
----------My name is Word mage and I live in New Jersey in the good old US of A. I was born in Newfoundland and was adopted as a young infant. I never made it back to see my birthplace but its cool that for at least 1 month, I feel connected as we all write our novels.
Good luck and hope to hear from some of you - like to learn what life is like up north!

Hi guys,
I am Debbie and I am back! I finished Nano last year, at the very last minute, and have tossed that old manuscript to the way side to make way for something newer and hopefully much better. I was at some of the write-ins last year and hope to participate this year as well. I have a very rough idea, working out a timeline then an outline and hopefully I will be ready to start Nov 1. Very excited about it. Nothing provides a fire like last minute deadlines for nano. I had no idea I could write that many words about one thing, but I can! See you all at the starting gate!

Hello again everyone!
I'm Liana. This year will be my third attempt, although I'm not putting much hope into winning. I was at all the write-ins last year and will try to attend a few this year as CBS is a little farther away than where I lived last year. Even so I'm looking forward to meeting all the new faces and re-meeting the ones from last year!

Jamie here, and this will be my fifth year in a row of this madness, and I'm determined to break my current two-win and two-lose tie with a win! :D Even though I don't have even the faintest idea of what I'll be writing about yet. I've only just realized how very close November is to October, and now I'm brushing out the cobwebs on my account and gearing up for the month to come!

Hey all, I'm Kaitlyn and this is my second year for NaNo.
----------I'm actually... well, not excited yet.
I'd say when November is looming though, it'll sink in and I'll be itching to write.
Glad to see/remember some new faces and old!
I miss you guys. x]

Hey guys.
Sorry I didn't get the ball rolling when the site launched. I was away at a conference in Fredericton and took the no-technology approach to things which was refreshing but distancing.
Great to see old faces back and some new ones popping up! Things will get more exciting as time goes on, and I look forward to hearing about your ideas.

y halo thar.
I'm Carla. This is year seven (holy crap) for me. It has become something of a yearly event for me. XD I'm out in Carbonear, so I will likely not be at any of the meet-ins (NEXT YEAR. IF I MANAGE TO GET A JOB IN TOWN. WHICH IS POSSIBLE.). *sadface* In any case - I'm a second year College of the North Atlantic student, studying stuff to do with computers and the internets. I will most likely be going off my head during November (I always have eighty billion assignments to do).
In any case, hai, newbies! Welcome back, fellow veterans! :D

Hello! I'm Kerry. This is not my first year doing NaNo, but I've never closed a win thus far. However! I did win JulNoWriMo this year, and you might think that that was it for the year, but it's only got me pumped up to have another go, honestly. Now I *know* I can do it.
I've never been to any of the events - unfortunately evening classes have tended to get in the way, but I'm going to have to try hard this year so I can meet some of you people.

I have to admit, I think the meetings and the people were what actually got me through nano last year.
I couldn't bother showing my face to my winning friends with anything short of 50000 words.
The main thing that is jumping around my mind is "What day are we all meeting!" :D

I'm Alan, a NaNo virgin...so I'll need all the help I can get.
Debbie, so you decided to plunge into the madness after all!
A number of the people I regularly blog with signed up again, so I was sort of goaded into it.
I've got no life anyway! I'll just give up my November (and maybe my wife will do all the Christmas shopping).
Cheers, Alan

Becca, am I crazy that I already have characters AND title name? O:
I think we should remove some days at the end of this month to make nano be closer. Though I doubt my parents would like that, going to Vegas and all.

Hey ... checking in again ... I've done and completed NaNo every year since 2003, with the except of 2007, which I skipped (bad idea). This year I'm going to go back to last year's NaNo which I haven't touched since Nov. 30 of last year ... yes, I know that's against the rules, but I have to make NaNo work for me, and this year putting in 50K words on a neglected work-in-progress is the best use of my time, I think.
Oh look, my sig's still messed up from last year. Wonder if I can fix that?

Coralie - No you're not crazy, and you've got more than that planned out! :P What are our plans? I'm thinkin' 'bout skippin' the first day again like last year. But I'm also trying to finish by the 14th.

Yay, new people and people I don't know. :)
Sam - I am not skipping the first day with you, sorry. I won't get started if I have to start on a Monday. x_x; However, finishing by the 14th sounds like a good idea. If we both do it, are we gonna celebrate together? :)
Coralie - Nah, having characters is not a bad thing. I've got those. And a beginning. No plot, but the beginning's planned out. Sorta. I've got enough for maybe the first few days. By then hopefully I'll get some inspiration. If not? Pirates ninjas and general insanity.

Becca - Of course we're celebrating on the 14th, and if we beat it before then, then we'll party even harder! :P And pirates and Ninjas and insanity are always the nice and fluffy safety net we fall on in our times of writers block, isn't it? Last year my safety net was a rabid lynx, or twelve. :P
