I know this isn't much use to you, but I'm a Cornellian Alum, now living in the frozen tundra to the north. I definitely miss Iowa, and I miss the energy on campus. I'm convinced that the block plan is excellent practice for Nanowrimo. Or... vice versa, I suppose. Of course, the downside is... trying to do both at the same time takes a certain kind of special determination.
But you guys already know that.
I hope things go well. Not enough people did Nano when I was down there, or at least they weren't very vocal about it. Hold some write-ins, for gosh sakes! The OC is just begging for a Nano party some Saturday.
Oh, and have fun. That's important too. :D
