GO ROADRUNNERS!! Don't know why I signed up to do NaNo between family, working full-time, and taking 9 hours at UTSA. But no better time than the present and I'm not getting any younger!

Awesome!

See, I was thinking that if there were...well, more than just me, we could have a write-in sometime at the JPL. You interested?

Sure. Most of my classes are downtown but I could meet you on Tuesdays at the JPL. Best way to get a hold of me is by email. hvaldez1347@sbcglobal.net

Let me know so we can set something up for first week in November.

So would anyone be interested in having a write-in in the JPL sometime this month? I figure if we see each other there, and then, later on around campus, we can encourage each other to write and stuff. Plus, the JPL has comfy chairs and wi-fi.

Anyone?

I'm a Roadrunner. :)

I am on campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays and have "free time" between 9:15 a.m and 1.45 p.m. During that time block, I'm always in the Business Building on the third floor hogging the table in the "snack room," but I can't remember the "room" number. I'll post it later (3 Nov) if anybody is interested in meeting with me during that time period. I like the area I'm in because there are windows... It is in the other long hallway that doesn't have all the individual study chairs and small desk areas that are separated with dividers. On Tuesdays, I sometimes stay after my 2 p.m. class (that is in the BB) until my husband picks me up after his golfing, so that will be anywhere from 3 p.m. until sunset (usually, he picks me up between 6 and 7 p.m.). Thursdays he picks me up around 4.30 p.m. So, I either go to the study area by the covered outside smoking area on the 2nd floor (usually on Thursdays and the Tuesdays he doesn't play golf) or I go back to the "snack room" on the 3rd floor when he does golf on Tuesdays.

I'm willing to meet with other WriMos at the JPL or elsewhere. Just let me know.

I'm easy to spot as I have a walker with a hot pink messenger bag and leather purse on it. I also have super short hair as I'm balding, wear glasses, and if it's cold, I have a pinkish purple sweater on. I also have a ton of freckles. Oh, and this semester I'm also sporting a medical back corset, quite the fashion statement. lol You might have seen me at some time between now and the past couple of years going to the Main Building, Business Building or going to/from the VIA bus stop. I also used to go to the HSS building.

Happy writing everybody!

Teresa

added note: The BB has wifi, and the area I study/write at, has some "comfy" chairs. Right now, I need the regular hard back chairs because it's less stress on my back (I had back surgery during the summer). The table can be moved to have one side with comfy chairs and the other side with regular chairs, and there are plugs for laptops.

Sweet.

I'm normally only free from work/school in the evenings or between noon and 3pm on Wednesdays. Being married, I don't really like hanging out in the evenings, though I'm willing to make exceptions. Let's figure something out.

Good luck everyone.

I hang out at the BB on the 3rd floor in the "room" 3.02.22 (there are paper recycle bins outside the entrance of this snack room). I'm usually there from 9.30 a.m. to 1.45 p.m. WiFi, outlets, snack and soda/water machine are available as well as a nice view of trees and highway 1604. :)
