St. Catharines People!

Niagara Falls People!

Everyone In The Surrounding Area People!

Where do YOU want to sit and write? Or as the month progresses, sit and panic in a group setting?

I was thinking of picking a day a week for each city (different days would be great!) and doing meets so that we can motivate each other, sustain ourselves of caffeinated goodness, and fill up on sugar. Oh right, and write too!

:: waves to the new unfamiliar people ::

Hi. I wasn't too active last year for personal reasons but am surprisingly (and probably taking on more then I can chew off for November), but would like to at least come out to a "write in" this year. Though I may just sit and knit or doodle/scribble since I'm without a labtop (and can't seem to find someone I can borrow one off of), and realistically, anything that is written long hand gets trashed or eatten by my cat.

If meets were in the Falls, then I likely can take a bus to them and/or one back or could more easily get my spouse to give me a lift. It really doesn't matter since I likely won't ever purchase anything, and if then, it would be only a soda or hot chocolate.

Other then that I can manage since I guess some part of my spaztastic subconcious wants me to do this, even though I have no real clue or desire to sit down and plot or think anything out. Any questions, comments or inquiries of what is left of my sanity please feel free to message me. :) I only bite the hubby -- and if you pay me off with sock yarn or beads.

hey all,
I am also not really participating in NaNo this year but do like to keep up on all the goings-on regardless. I would be up for a write in or get together in St Catharines. I hope to make it out to one or two anyway!

Happy writing!

As fun as this would be, with all the running around I'm doing now, bussing to Welland every day for college, I really don't think I'll have time for much else! Hope the rest of you all have fun though; I'll be with you in spirit ^.~

I dont live near enough the Falls or St. Kiits to be able to offer up a locale suggestion for the weekly meetings, nor do I wnat to help out with the actual dates... but I am uber flexible and plan be at one per week. If one falls on a Tuesday then I will just go to the other one that week.
Hoping the others help firm things up soon.

I have the most annoying schedule out there, actually, that's a lie, it's just nor NaNo friendly.

I can hold meets, fridays after 8, any time saturday, and any time sunday. Sundays are my favourite days of the week for NaNo attacks, erm I mean NaNo writing sessions... that's it... Because everyone knows that NaNos don't attack *insert the yellow dog with the shifty eyes here*

Verdict?

I can also see about arranging carpooling for people outside the area if that's any help too *grin*

So what's going on?

I guess I could help out some how, though I don't know how, I have "kitchen" table and am beside The Review so yous people can get the net if meets are small they can be held here... if you don't mind the hubby loitering around the corner on his sofa smoking and the two cats (well Wroo) racing around.

Give me a shout.

Really almost any weeknight is good for me. Sun night is best. Saturday is not a possibility. If we do Sun nights though I will have to miss the first one for sure.

I'm in for Sunday nights anywhere you choose. Just don't choose, like, Beamsville or something. I hate driving on the highway.

Well it does look like we're all over the place aren't we? I've never been to a write-in. I've always just gone solo, but then...November is always a hellish month for me even when you don't factor in Nano.

So anyway I want to make it out to some meet ups, but I work a stupid shift of 3:30-midnight mon-fri. So Sats and Suns are the only good days for me.

I will keep checking back to see if anything matches up for me. :)
And if anyone is in St. Kits and needs a ride, if I'm going I can totally help out, just message me :)
