My husband told me that the question about accessibility was a bit strange for those who don't think over the issue as a matter of course.
I do use a manual chair. I am not sure if I can come to the party, but would love to try. It would be breaking normal boundries. If there were some strong people willing to lug the chair with me in up a couple of steps, there's no problrm. However, if the par-ty is held in Repunzel's tower, well you get the idea right::) It is only fair to give a heads up.
Anything is possible "with a little help from friends"

My beloved aunt uses a manual wheelchair and I've assisted her a lot. I've been wondering how in the world I'd show her Copenhagen if she ever came to visit me. If I can go to the meet ups that you're going to, I'd be more than happy to help you up a few steps! Bonus, I'm, like, totally Superman, so we wouldn't need anyone particularly strong to help on the other end, either. ;)

Last year we had the kick-off party at Klaptræet on Kultorvet. It's definitely got an overabundance of stairs and as far as I recall it doesn't have an elevator so I think it would be a bad choice.
One thing to remember is that the 31st is a Saturday so bars/cafés will most likely be very crowded. That, however, should not be much of a challenge as I'm sure a group of crazy writers with freshly sharpened pencils can easily overcome the evil hordes of regular, normal, non-writers ;-)
My mind is currently blank when it comes to good ideas for the kick-off party, but I do know that wherever we end up having it I'll definitely be there and while I'm not as Supermanly as Modifien I'll gladly assist with getting people up and down stairs/steps.

October 31 is also the day after J-Day (night) this year so it will have an extra "rowdiness", I think. But I have gotten a few suggestions and am still waiting for more so people can email me if they think of something.

hmmm I'll have to think about it.. that day is crashing down on me atm... I have a date with friends set about J-day, have date with the class for last day of school the night before have my job from 6 Am to anything between 14 and 16 (mail(wo)man), and then I have a halloween party plan with friends too... argh to many plans on one day. -.-' hmmm I'll have to think about it...
EDIT: and then the day really crashed... j-day friends are going to Esbjerg, class drinking night posponed 14 days, job same time, halloween party not becoming anything and now I'm going to jylland for halloween xD oh my.. well that means no me on the 31th october.. sorry enjoy for me too :)

This will be my very first nanowrimo. I'm quite nervous really, since I've been writing for a few years, but never really finished anything yet. But this would be a great way to start the magic :3 So I'll definitely be there.
I'd like to apologize already, and say that since I'm going to a party called Tokyo Decadance the night before, I might look a bit worn around the edges.
