I thought to start a separate thread for write-ins. It would be great to try to make write-ins available to as many writers as possible. To begin, we have scheduled Thursday, early evenings at the Centralia library. I think we have Friday evening write-ins scheduled, too.

What time would be best for you?

Both work for me as well as weekends. My weekends should be open for now, it depends on when White Pass opens.

Other than Thanksgiving week, I think it would be nice to have a write-in on Saturday afternoon...like 2-4 or something like that? Anyone else interested?

Maybe we could meet at Starbucks or one of our other fine cafes on Saturday afternoons. Anyone else interested?

I'm off work at 4 on Saturdays. As long as I would get in more than an hour typing, I can be there :)

It's now posted on the site...Matrix will have write-ins on Friday Nov. 6th, and Friday Nov. 13th. On Friday Nov.20th Lewis County Writers Guild will also have it's regular meeting at Matrix, which is...guess what...a Write-In(starting at 5pm and going all evening. No spoken word open mic that night, besides the chitchat we usually get into to procrastinate.. We will probably be around on Saturday afternoons if anyone wants to come in to write. I'll be there with my trusty lap top donated to me by a fellow nanoer at the end of November last year. Last year I scribbled on notebook paper at the write-ins then transferred to my computer at home. Amy even gave me a flash drive for this year! Now I am busy learning how to use these critters!

Aw, I won't be making any write-ins this year. At least that's what it looks like right now. I'm nursing injuries from a car accident. At least I'm able to write! So I'll just have to be a virtual writer.

Oh, no!! I hope you're doing okay! We're going to set up virtual write-ins, too, so maybe you can join us there. Keep us posted on your progress -- we'll do some milestone shout-outs on the forum and in Twitter. We'll be looking forward to hearing from you!

Hey guys-

Ive been stalking for a while. I'd love to come to one of the write-ins. I can best make the weekends - sat or sun doesn't matter. I already know some of you, but I'd like to meet the rest or at least part of the rest! I work evenings, so I don't make the regular meetings for the group. But if you ever start meeting on the weekends again, count me in.

I have to pick up the hubby at Seatac on Sunday late evening, but I think I should have plenty of time for the write-in at Safeway Starbucks. Dumb question, but do they have wifi there? Just look for the stranger wandering through the doorway looking confused and seeking copious amounts of laptop bearing peoples! I have the glazed - just wrote 3k words today look on my face. I bet I'll have something similar (the glazed - must write look) sunday.

See you there!

Jen

You bet! And that great novel-writing atmosphere that is unique to grocery stores!

Anyone want to do a Saturday write-in?

Great. I will see some of you there. I'd surely be interested in Saturday write-ins. I need all the motivations I can get!
