I'm thinking I might be the only one up here. lol. Oh, well, I've got split personalities, so we'll do fine by ourselves.

You're welcome to come to any of the Tupelo events if you'd like. We've got a good-sized group, though not everyone will be able to make every event. I try to keep the Tupelo thread updated with the event schedule, so if there's ever one you might be able to make, feel free to show up!

HA! Made it! And people said I was crazy for wanting to try this whole Nanowhatchamatellit thing. "You know you're gonna be alone, right? Who else would possibly be stupid enough to try something like this besides you?" Well, I showed THEM! I KNEW there'd be loads of other stupid folks just like me out there!

Wait a second. That didn't come out quite right.

Anyway, I'm actually just kinda psyched to see that there's another writer or two in the Corinth area. (Burnsville here. You know, that little speck on the road a tiny ways east-ish of you?) I look forward to joining you for the scribble-intensive challenge and inevitable psychotic breaks that will surely follow!

So what kinda events are we talkin' 'bout here? Karaoke? Grasshopper rodeo? Canadian film festival? Wha? As tragic a commentary as it provides on my social life, my schedule is 100% open. Free 'n' clear. You know, except for that whole 'job' thing. But I can totally get rid of that if it's an issue.

I know exactly where Burnsville is! I grew up in Iuka but I now live in Texas. One of these days I will move back home but for now, I'm working and writing in Texas.

We're all probably a little crazy to try this NaNoWriMo. This is my first year to participate and so far, I am ahead on my word count. Of course, things could go downhill fast but I'm at least starting off the month right.

Sweet Lord! There are more out there. I thought for sure I was the only one in Corinth area. Well, I'll see what kind of events I can schedule and get back to you guys. Stay tuned in and keep writing.
