Hi again,

Once again, thanks to the wonderful karalianne, we have our own chat room this year. Here's the link: http://england.chatnano.net/Cambridge/index.html

It's actually exactly the same link as last year but the room itself has changed. The room is now IRC based, so you can either use the browser embedded version, thereby negating the need to install any additional software, or if you're already familiar with IRC you can use a client of your choice. All the instructions are on that first page.

If you would like to keep a username especially for yourself you can register it so that no-one else can use it and pretend to be you, and it would be a good idea if you used the same username that you use on the boards here just to minimise the confusion factor, but that's obviously your choice. :-)

The chat room is live and in use now so feel free to drop by and check it out before Nano starts, you may actually find someone in there to chat to as myself and sniglet tend to log in whenever our computers are turned on, though don't be upset if it takes us a while to answer, we're both very busy at the moment. :-o

Hi all,

Thanks to the wonderful ktabic we now have a bot which will run Word Wars for us automatically, as well as providing lots of other means of procrastination.

We'll be having Virtual Write-Ins, complete with Word Wars, in there every Monday and Friday evening plus we'll be in there during every Write-In which takes place at CB2, provided their WiFi holds out. (see the calendar for details.)

To be honest, there's people in there most evenings, so if you drop in, there'll probably be someone to chat to. :-)
