So, I'm not there yet, but come November, I will be living back in Fulton County. I lived in G-ville for over 9 years, and about a year and a half ago, moved out to Springfield, Mass. Now I'm moving back (Though I might end up in Amsterdam over in Montgomery County.) and I've never really been sure what Region I should join. It's probably this one, as Albany is the next closest Region, and, well, that's about a 45 minute drive from G-ville. So I figured I'd just check and ask to be sure. Thanks in advance to anyone who might help me answer this question!

howdy-ho!

the albany region is probably best for you if you plan to attend offline write-ins...

there's also a "mohawk valley" region but they do most of their write-ins in oriskany, utica, etc.

(i'm originally from the village of hagaman, myself so i always check up on both regions to see what they're up to even though i live further downstate now).

Elizabeth,

Thanks very much for letting me know. I've always been kind of confused on my classification for this. It's hard being from a tiny little town. But I'll check over to the Albany area and see if it's best. 45 minutes isn't too bad for a drive for something as special as NaNo. Thanks again for your help!
