Okay everyone, now for the fun stuff!

What are times that work well for you for write-ins? Ideally, I'd like to have 1 weekday/school hour write-in, 1 weeknight write-in, and 1 on the weekend. Please let me know days/times that work great for you and days/times that don't work at all.

Party time? When works great for a Kick-off party? Traditionally, I shoot for the last week of October, but not Halloween. I can be flexible on this, though. I am open to holding it at my new place of residence if that works for everyone. Let me know, again, what works and what definitely doesn't work for you.

NaNo PlanNo sessions in October, what works for you?

And FINALLY, this year leaves me as the sole-ML for the region, and I would LOVE to have some help. Rules: This cannot be your first year doing NaNo, and you must be able to attend (at least some) write-ins or hold your own. Other fun stuff involves answering questions on the forums and being a cheerleader. Send me an email at a.renee@gmail.com or a nanomail if you are interested.

We'll work on the TGIO party closer to the end of the month, so for now let's get cracking on this stuff. This is going to be a great year!

Probably won't make any write-ins... But for the PlanNo stuff, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday work in general for me. For the kick-off party, Monday or Wednesday are the only free days I have the last week of October.

I'm available for planning or write ins during school hours. For the party, just let me know, and I'll try to be there.

I love write-ins, but as usual I will have a weird schedule. Sundays will probably work better than Saturdays, but I make no guarantees.

Weeknights: Mondays are Snark Night at our house, so not a good time. Maybe Tuesdays or Wednesdays?

During school hours: we're at work, so that's up to the people who can come.

I hope to make at least one of the write-ins this NaNo, perhaps two if the stars align just so. I don't know whether I'll be able to persuade my better half to come... we have another laptop, but it doesn't work well.

Write ins: I will gladly support Monday night write ins all through the month, as well as the mentioned Sunday afternoon write-ins if they happen.

Party: I know that myself and a few others in the region who are interested in NaNo are all participating in the Thriller Parade that happens downtown every year, and that (unfortunately) that is on the 30th this year. So will be too busy being a dancing zombie to party... unless we all meet downtown, zombies and all.. which would be really groovy.

PlanNo: I never made it to any of the PlanNo sessions in years past and would be interested to come out and play this time around.

Shoot, forgot about Thriller. I don't wanna miss that this year (even though I DO kinda live downtown now). Let discuss alternate kickoff dates at the planNo.

The Thursday should be much more accessible for me and the other Thrillers. For those of you who don't know about it the Thriller Parade is downtown (starts at the Kentucky Theater) on the 30th this year, and i think that it starts at 8.

Rats, I can't do the kickoff party as both my kids are doing the Lafayette Playathon that evening.

I'd love to host a weekday write-in at my place. I have plenty of space, two computers, and a big dining room table for anyone who wants to bring lunch. I can provide ice water, coffee, and hot water for tea. Noonish any weekday would work for me.

i work Fridays through Monday till midnight save for Saturday when i get off at 1900. I have Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off so i can attend what ever we have on those days. Halloween is my birthday and so i plan to celebrate it some how after i get off work. and probably do that by sitting at the computer waiting till the clock strikes midnight and start going for it.

so let me know when and where and i will do my best. Thursday kick off i might be able to make

It looks like my plans for the 7th have been canceled and I will be free after all. Are you planning to do a write-in on the 7th?

the lock in is from 11 on the 6 till 7 am on the seventh so i dunno if ill have the stamina for a write in on the seventh but hey ill sure try. as for my weekend write in what works better for everyone sundays or saturdays? and i got some feedback about placement and i agree that maybe starbucks here on richmond road would work better. but still trying to nail down weather we would want to do one on saturday or sun im thinking from 5-7 as a time myself but ill take feedback about that too. let me know-Betsy (crimsonglade)
