I'm just going to start this one off, as those involved know what's going on.

Dane sits on the front porch railing of his cantina, Baja California Sur, summertime just starting. He's got a Corona in one hand and a cig in the other, but he isn't smoking. He's looking far off into the distance, towards the ocean, and thinking that he should go surf, but not really wanting to. No, he's wishing that this little redhead was around, but he knows that she's probably in Ireland right now, doing good for the world. He takes a long drag and finishes his beer and opens up another.

Teagan bounced along in the beat-up Jeep listening to the radio and the GPS directions. She made another turn and--aha! there it was. She pulled up in front of the cantina and turn off the Jeep. And there he was. "Dane!" she called out. She came around the side of the Jeep and headed for the stairs to the porch where he was sitting.

"What the fuck?" Dane said, his eyes going wide as he stubbed out his cigarette, "You've got to bloody be kidding me." His eyes lit up as he slid off the railing to pick Teagan up, "Oh my God." He spun around holding her, "Mind if I kiss you? It's been on my mind for a while now."

Teagan laughed her bubbly laugh and twining her hands around his neck. "Kiss me, you idjit. I guess oyur summoning spell worked. And tell me why you're in the ass end of Buttfucton, Mexico." She laughed again.

Dane laughed and kissed her, soft and sweet, long kiss, beofre he sets her up on the railing and grabs a couple of Coronas out of the cooler. He opens them and hands one to Teagan, kissing her again before he swings himself up next to her on the railing, "Summoning spell? Wow." He looks around, "I fucking love this place. That ocean has seen me through a lot of stuff, you know? And my friends are here, my horses, a good part of my life. And its BCS, not BFT. Get it right, baby." He leans over and kisses her again.

((BCS?))

Teagan held the Corona to her temple, then her neck and let it cool her. "I thought the natives drank this with lime? Or is that just for the commercials?" She grinned at him. "Obviously not enough of your 'friends' are here if you're this horny." Teagan takes a sip of the Corona. "Ah. Haven't had one of these in ages."

((baja california sur.))

Dane grinned and reached behind him for the limes, "These, hon? Yeah, they're nice. Corona isn't my favorite, I actually prefer some local brews, but I wasn't picky." he grinned, "And honey, even when I'm getting laid every night I'm this horny. I'm an Italian lover, girl. And summer is just starting. i'm worse this time of year." He raises one eyebrow and winks.

Teagan laughed again. "Local brews are always nicer...I've been drinking a lot of mead at home." She took a lime from him. ((Actually I never drank beer with limes--is it done like tequila? drink the beer then suck the lime?)) "So you're a Brit from your waist up and Italian from your waist down? It's a good thing I brought my chastity belt." She laughed again.

((I need bed. Back tomorrow,))

Dane nodded, "This stuff isn't that great, like I said, but someone left it on the porch. (And honestly, my brain can't put that together right now. I haven't had a beer for ages. I've been sticking to wine and tequila and other stuff. I think you can do whatever.) Dane shrugged as he took another sip and grimaced, "Okay, change of plans. I'll be right back." He slid off the railing and took the beer from Teagan's hands and kissed her on the cheek. He took the cooler inside and came back out a few minutes later with a couple of bottles of homebrew, limes already in the top, "Try this." he said as he sat back down, "sorry for giving you that crap. I really am." He took a sip of his beer and sighed, 'Better. And no, I'm a scottish lover as well, passion and fire, but the Italian side of me tends to come out in the summer, and I don't hoesntly know why." He smiles, "Hope you don't mind."

((yes, bed would be a good thing I think.))

Stacy basked in the heat of the morning on her porch overlooking the golf course. Yes, renting this condo for six months was the best idea she had had in a long time. Perhaps later she would go to the beach and walk on the shore a ways, perhaps stop in at Zippers for a Pacifico or two. She hadn't been there yet. Tonight she planned to check out some of the night life closer to Cabo, maybe even stay the night somewhere depending on how things went. She wiped the sweat from her brow and went inside to grab a towel and some water before heading to the beach.

((I thought most locals there drink Pacifico over Corona? It's their national beer, isn't it? lol))

((Truth is we drink about anything there is... i should call the guy who actually is running the bar right now. Then again, now that i"m sober, things might be a lot clearer. And, sweetie, we're nearer to Santa Rosalia than Cabo.))

((I'll give you someone to interact with!))

Mexico was nice. The beaches. The clubs. The women. Of course, it wasn't the same as Las Vegas. The Lights. The casinos. Craps and Roulette. He liked the nightlife. He liked the fact that the city was alive at night and slower during the day. But he couldn't stay there forever. He could be a frequent visitor, get all the perks, and not make the casinos think he as freeloading off them. Not that he wasn't. Mexico was suggested to him by one of the dancers he knew in Vegas. She figured it would be a good place for him to relax and unwind. Dayen walked the beach, enjoying the sunlight, looking for a little cabana where he could sit and drink. Yes, Cabo wasn't Vegas, but it was nice enough.

"Thanks," Teagan took the homebrew. She'd have to pace herself, getting drunk around Dane would definately be bad idea. "I'll just punch oyu if you get out of line. Scottish lover indeed, I hadn't heard they were known for that." Teagan took a sip of her beer and imagined Dane in a kilt.

((Teagan: ha-ha, Dayen, I think you're stalking me.))

Dane laughed, the rich laughter coming from the bottom of his stomach, "We may just have to, my dear. " He leans over and kisses her softly, "Though all in good time."

((I love tall guys!!))

Dane smiled and took another sip of his beer, "That's awesome that you've got more gigs. Me? It's been pretty chill. (How long of an interval?). Lot of work, a bit of play. Been traveling with my sister doing some work for the vineyard, but nothing extremely exciting. It's been quiet. Dominique and I kinda got out of the business for a bit--there was some money on our heads if we stayed in. I'm middling a bit, hooking people up, but I've been out of the field for months now. I'll be back, of course, but it'll be a time."

((I don't like kissing guys shorter than me. My height is okay but this is reallyt he first time the guy has been a lot taller, lke 10" taller than me. He's a giant. I love it. Always loved the thought of kissing someone while standing on tiptoes...))

((At 5' tall, I'm always on tiptoes. The grass is always greener...6-8 inches taller is perfect, I think. I've never kissed a guy short than me unless he was a child LOL.))
((A year? So Teagan's like...21-22, no older than 23.))

"Yeah. I've written some new songs--had a lot of inspiration over the last year. I fell in love. Twice." She smiled a little. "You worry me sometimes, I'm glad you're not in the field. And--oh, the State stores in PA are finally carrying your wine. Only a few stores and all of them are on the mainline, but hey. At least I can buy your wine." She grinned broadly at him.

((Wow. That's like wow. You're a lot shorter than me.))
((Yeah, Dane's still around 25ish? I dunno--I can't picture him older than that right now. I know him when he's younger, but not older.))

Dane smiled, "Isn't love wonderful? I found a person, but it didn't work out." He shrugged, "Thanks for worrying about me, love. That means a lot to me. And I know. We let one of the wines go out in wider distribution. It's honestly not a great wine, but it's a damn good wine. Americans aren't ready for the wine we produce, to tell you the truth. The public couldn't really appreciate it. You can get it, of course,in the states, but you just have to know people or order it." He grins, "But that's the good thing. You know me. So that means that you can always get the good stuff." He leans forward to kiss her softly.

((yeah, my next life I want to be Red Sonja--6 feet tall and stacked. LOL))

"Nothing ever hurt so bad and felt so good..." Teagan said looking out at the expanse before her. Didn't they call this Big Sky country? If not, they could. She smiled. "Mom likes to serve your wine at the farm--just so she can say she knows the vintner." Teagan put a hand on Dane's neck so she could kiss him again. "I have a feeling you _are_ the good stuff."

Dane sat up and looked at Teagan, "Why do you need anything else to do, honey?" He wiggles a bit, "I'm all you need to have fun." Then he shakes his head and laughs, "no, there's a lot we do. We drink, we surf, we hike, we just hang out... a lotta music, a lotta music. Anything you want we might have and if we dont have it, we can fly you to somewhere that does." He smiles and take another sip of his beer.

Teagan laughed at Dane's antics, but he cheeks colored a little. "I've never tried surfing--I hear you need really strong leg muscles...i'm noit a wimp, I hump band equipment, and muck out stables, and stuff, but...surfing--that looks way scary. Hiking is good. Music's the best. I brought my guitar and violin--they's in the jeep. Ooh, I better get them out of there and into someplace cooler." She smacked ehr forehead. "I never forget things like that. Must be your awesome presence. Shje laughed again.

"Surfing is amazing." He said with a smile, sliding off the railing. He extended a hand to Teagan, or himself if she wanted to jump, "I'll help you take your stuff to my place. I've got a room in the back that you can stay in." He grins, "And it really is the life. And now you get to join in."
