Howdy folks,

As I mentioned in a previous post, I don't live in the southern part of the state, so I don't have any good ideas for you as far as write-ins. Use this post as a sounding board for where to meet, and hopefully ya'll can get some organized. That's not to say you wouldnt be welcome at the write-ins I'll be organizing up 'north', but I don't expect you to go that far out of your way to join us.

Living in Seaford, DE certainly qualifies as Southern Delaware!

Anyone else here-abouts?

Milford here.

There can't be only two of us. That's just not fair.

We need to fix that.

What's up, Slower Lower folks? I'm in Laurel.

Last year, I lived in Easton and was unable to attend any write-ins due to the distance. (Hated going across the bridge and Salisbury was just too far of a drive for an evening write-in with work the next day.)

Did anyone organize Kent/Sussex write-ins last year? Is anyone planning on doing so this year? Or do the southern Delaware folks usually get together with Lower Eastern Shore folks in Maryland?

I dont remember if anyone did last year - but please do!
If you send me a nanomail about them, I'll put them on our regional calendar (now that I've figured out how to make it work)

I'm game. Georgetown might be a good central point. Maybe at DelTech some evening or Saturday morning?

My laptop and I would love that.

Actually, DelTech seems like a fairly good idea. I have fridays off and don't go in until late evening saturday nights at work (milford Walmart) So either of those would work for me.

Hi, Everyone!

Del Tech sounds like a great idea! I live in Harbeson and teach at Del Tech. Keep me posted about the where and when for any get-togethers.

Do any of you belong to Rehoboth Beach Writers Guild?

So does anyone want to get together this Friday, Nov. 6, in the evening? Say 6-7ish? I was going to suggest meeting at the DT library, but it closes at 4:30 on Fridays. There are plenty of other areas around the campus, though. If another time or location would better suit, please toss it out there!

I'm so late to this. Figures I'd wait until 1 hour before this starts to make sure I remembered my login info... which, I didn't.

But I'm in Rehoboth Beach :) If something can get worked out at Del Tech, that'd be great.

I'm a member of 'the guild'. We participate in their Saturday morning free-writes. The plan for November is to go down there and write at Browseabout while Kit, my significant other, does the free write.

I'm in Camden, which I guess actually puts me in central-ish Delaware, so Depending on where the write-ins for the southern part of the state is held I might head there instead of to a northern one. But I might show up at either one, I like to drive, clears my head and get pretty good ideas while driving too. Though it really depends on my schedule (Though I could request the days off I suppose heh)
