Hey! Any word on write-ins or kick-off parties?
I'm starting to get super excited.

Yes. We will be having a kick off orientation at Coffee Waves. I'm going to go ahead and commit to making that 12 noon on Halloween. We were tentative about that for a long time. Then we will meet again at 11pm on Halloween.

The point of having two meetings on the same day was to accommodate both people that wanted to countdown to midnight and people with kids or for some other reason couldn't be out at that hour.

I'm not sure if I have work on that day, but I'll know in the next couple of days...I can hopefully make both for at least a little bit.

Where is Coffee Waves? Not a big meeting goer, but might make an exception this year if they aren't always downtown.

Darn it...I'm gonna miss all the fun...

Curse my inability to travel vast distances in exceptionally short periods of time...and the ocean, everything is always, somehow, the ocean's fault...

Well anyway...I'll be kickin' things off on my end...hope you all have a good time... :-)

Just had a thought - since it's Daylight Savings Time, are we staying for two hours, or three for the midnight write-in? ;)

You all have fun. I waffled a bit about doing this this year so I didn't plan far enough ahead to be there today.

Work ate me today so I couldn't make the 11 one :(

On the plus side, it means that I DEFINITELY will be able to make the one tonight! Woot.

YAY! My dad agreed to take me tonight. I'm wearing a long black wig...so if you see me looking lost, don't be surprised.
:D *jumps up and down excitedly*

It was good last night/this morning. I am now about 2000 words ahead of last year...of course, I didn't write for the first week last year, so that makes me sound like I'm doing better.....

I know it's short notice, but I figured I'd head over to Coffee Waves tonight around 7:30pm for a bit of writing, since I really fell in love with that place the other night :)

If anyone wants to join me, feel free! I'll have the NaNo sticker on my laptop so I shouldn't be too hard to spot.

I saw that you updated the calendar and I tried to send out and email blast to notify all wrimos but it hasn't shown up in my email. I wasn't sure if I should resend. I did twitter it though.
