Hello again! In case no one knows who I am (and you really shouldn't as this is a new pen name for the new season!) I am/was PhelpsnHamm and I'm here to invite any and all Wrimos to join my roommate Jaina and I for write-ins at my house during the insanity that is November.

We were discussing days of the week and times, and we think that Thursdays are going to work. Times are TBA, and we'll have more concrete ideas for that once we've kicked started November.

Feel free to message me or Jaina with questions.

Happy Nano season, one and all!

Just a quick update on times: I won't be off work until 4 on Thursdays, so odds are that write-ins won't get started until 5 at the earliest (to, you know, give me time to get home and whatnot), probably closer to 5:30 or 6 or even 7. If folks show up earlier than that, well, it depends on whether Crosse is down for that or not. No idea how long it will last - last year it was kind of "whenever we felt like stopping."

Also, just like last year, these write-ins will be totally, completely, utterly and otherwise free. We both know what it is to be strapped for cash, and we both know how great write-ins can be for the noveling and the motivation and suchlike. If you are so inclined, we are happy to accept donations of food, drinks, and words, but we require nothing but your presence. We always have water, juice and hot tea in the house, we usually have hot cocoa and hot cider, and sometimes we even have sugary or salty, delicious snack-like things, all of which will be available for wrimo consumption.

Again, PM Crosse or me with questions, and we'll see you in November!

Hey! I was just wondering what general area y'all are in downtown.

Ash and I already get together on thursdays downtown, usually at Pikes Perk (there is another forum post saying that we'll be there on Thursdays), but maybe if your in the same area we could come there instead??

Hey everyone!

Name's Marina. I'm in the Downtown area and would love to attend. If anyone is meeting already, I'd love to join. I live on the other side of I-25 on Mesa Rd. Where are current writing groups being held?

I rent a house at Monument and Foote, just a few blocks away. I'd be down to do a write-in and I'd be more than willing to bring snacks of some sort.

Glad to hear that you're planning on coming. :) Basically, the write-ins at our place are pretty much time to sit and write, as well as bounce ideas off of the other Wrimos present, eat snacks and drink delicious beverages of a warm and soothing nature. A good time to be had by all.

I'm definitely in for at least one write-in. It depends on what Thursday I'll be able to get off work. Could you nm me directions from Garden of the Gods?

thanks!

Wow, you guys live pretty close to me! I'm totally down for that, if you still have room for writers! I may even test out home made pumpkin bread on the group - if no one has any objections, of course, hehe.

I may actually enjoy something like this. If I can figure out where you are talking about, I'm there.
