Well since I'm lucky enough to not have to work this weekend I get to go to the party. How many people are we expecting?
Is it street parking? Rear lot?

I think I can attend today. It was still up in the air this morning but I think it should be possible.

I COMPLETELY flaked, guys! This was my first missed kick-off party since I don't even know when! I thought it would be later on in the day so I didn't go to check for specific times until about ten till three. I'll make up missing the kick-off party with extra amounts of love, though. Promise!

Well, if it's leaving you in a larch I am sure we can come up with something. We can leave it up to poplar vote.

I don't think I could ever get sycamore ideas for woods we could use.

Getting caught up on my board posts and wondering why no one else is posting any wood comments. I know Joel & I can't be the only word twisters around here. I think it would be just OAKey-dokey if someone would chip in some more ideas. (I know, it's not a type, but there are wood chips, right?) Some woods just to play with before twisting can include cork, maple, hickory, mesquite, pine, ash, cherry, walnut, balsa, beech, birch, cedar, cottonwood, ebony, elm, fir, dogwood, evergreen, willow, cypress, locust, olive, gum, plum, persimmon, redwood, pecan, and more than I can write before falling asleep. I'll be watching for whichever of these end up as a dare.
