So many questions, so little time. -sigh-

Can't wait!!!

OK so we're ML-less again this year, but next year, I'm all for doing it. Especially since I can bus it everywhere with my UPass from the college.

Just like last year, we're going to need someone to figure out and organize weekly write-ins. I guess I can practice this unofficially this year. I was thinking, one in Oshawa, one in Whitby, one in Ajax, one in Pickering...all based on demand. We also need a kickoff party!

Sorry for double posting.

To be honest, I'm still undecided about whether or not I'll partake this year. Only because I'm supposed to be traveling at some point plus an artshow I'm selling the 14th and 15th. So I dunno. It may be a last minute thing for me. Plus I still feel bad for never getting that last party together for everyone.

I really would love to try and be part of it this year. I have a story idea in mind, the only problem is the fact that I work 12 hour days, 6 days a week. You can count me in for now, I think. That's the best I can do for now.

I'm probably not going to be participating this year. It was a good exercise in creativity last year, but I have too much going on this year.

Good luck to everyone who is participating, though.

Hopefully I'll be able to participate this year, but work issues may prevent it. :(

Speaking of work issues, if anyone needs a task list during NaNo, supplying an online one is the whole point of my business... *hint hint*

I'll be writing this year, but I expect I'll be antisocial about it due to my schedule.

Currently, I plan on participating. Whether I finish will all depend on if my English class workload does not kill me first! lol

I'm really excited, though! :D

I'm game for anything. I'm excited and am already coming up with plot lines in my head.

Last year was fun. This year, I'm going to be lazy and use a couple movie stars as my characters to save time in character development. Why not work the movie rights into the first draft?

Hey, dude, there's also Script Frenzy in April! :] You might as well turn the thing into a screenplay too!

I'm really glad to hear from all of you. Now let's start brainstorming for the kickoff party!!!

Some place with food. Appetizers and drinks or something. A place we can all just chill and discuss the month ahead. Thinking some place central like Whitby? Is that central for everyone? If there aren't too many people participating, there's always Starbucks. I love that place! LOL

I can make it Ajax through Oshawa, I'd say, though Whitby's my home... Any thing other and I'd doubt it'd be close enough.

What about a Starbucks in a Chapters? Or would they not like that, do you think?

Count me in for this year too!! I wrote mine last year in December so it doesn't technically count but I'm ready to go this year. I just hope work doesn't get in the way!

I can do the Oshawa/Whitby area. Anything else is pushing it, but I could look into alternate ways to get there.

The most accessible place for me would be the Starbucks on Taunton in Whitby. But I can also do Starbucks in Chapters in Ajax or Oshawa. If anyone has suggestions for places to hang, that would be great.

I also need an estimate of who is interested in meeting up for the kick off party so we can find a suitable place.

I'm interested for sure, though I don't know how school will interfere as of yet!

There's a Starbucks in the Ajax Chapters in the Durham Center, and one standalone Starbucks up by KFC and Superstore.

.....cramped fingers grip the door frame, feet splayed and heels dug in, clenched teeth, sweat forming on brow....then a cross-check to the back and in I fall. Damn that NaNoWriMo muse!! Okay folks, I'm in. Not sure how many events I will attend, schedule is pretty busy this year, but I'm gonna try again. The Second Cup at Thickson and Hwy 2 in Whitby was pretty user-friendly last year. Sunday is the best day for me. Good luck everyone!

Hi guys,

I'll be giving it another go this year. 7th year now. I'm pretty swamped though, so may not make the 50K. Good luck to everybody!

Hi there! This is my third Nano and I have to say, I love the challenge!!!

Week-ends are good for me - I like the idea of the Chapters in Ajax, I go there a lot to write anyway. :-)

First shot at this beast of a month, been looking forward to it since I discovered it too late last year. I'm Oshawa-area, though I doubt I'll be able to be social about it since I'll be working and buckling down and whatnot.

Either way, good luck to everyone and have a good time. :D

I wish you all luck but yet again this year, things are too hectic to get out to any get togethers. Fun time in 2007 at the Thirsty Monk though. Why not make the end party there again? To be honest I think this might be my first year I don't finish. I haven't even settled on an idea yet even after tossing a couple around all year.

Again best wishes everyone.
