Allright guys, let's talk kickoff. I'm loaded up with stickers and am going to purchase some additional goodies just for you! I believe things are best when done democratically, so we can take a vote about when and where, if you want.
Spanish Fort seems to be the most central location for everyone, so we can do what we've done the past few years and meet at the Panera Bread at the Eastern Shore Center, if that's okay with everyone.
There are also some options in Mobile, but I think Spanish Fort is easier for everyone to get to, especially our Gulf Shores friends!
The best dates are Oct. 31 or Nov. 1. We will be meeting in the early afternoon, so as not to disrupt anyone's Halloween or church plans, depending on if we do it on Saturday or Sunday.
So thoughts? Questions? Comments?

Spanish Fort works for me -- I'd also like to put my vote in for Sunday the 1st, but I'm pretty sure I could make it up there either day. This is the first time I've done NaNo stateside and I'm really looking forward to the meet-ups!

Gah, I have a Victorian Prose Essay and a Biology test to work on due on Tuesday, as well as a Essay for my Literary theory class. So I will not be able to come. I won't even be able to write.

Aw! I was working yesterday. I wish I had found out about this site sooner so that I might have been at least some what able to attend. If you have anymore little get togethers, let me know and I would love to attend. I hope the kick off party was a blast though! :)
