hello!
As you can see in the Regional Events above, we have several meetings in October if you'd like to meet fellow nano-ers and plot on that novel before the kick-off party. All of the dates are currently on Tuesdays out in PRP. We will be adding more dates and locations as we get everything figured out. Keep an eye on the Regional Events Calendar and on our Twitter for updates. I will also try to update this thread when something new for October is added.

Could we do some write ins in Old Louisville/Downtown/The Highlands for those of us on a bus? I can't really get out to PRP on Tuesdays :( Just a thought..

During NaNo we meet on Saturdays at the Heine Bros at the Douglass Loop on Bardstown Rd. The November dates are on the calendar (and listed in the Regional Events at the top of the forum). I'm trying to arrange some October meetings on Saturdays at that Heine Bros, but I haven't been able to fit any into my schedule yet. (sorry, work is crazy right now!) But it's looking like the afternoon of Saturday, October 17th will be available. I'll get it confirmed, and get it on the calendar.
Take a look at the calendar for the various locations of the November meetings. We have meetings scheduled on Dixie Hwy, Bardstown Rd, and Hurstbourne Pkwy. We're working on a Nov 1st write-in at another location as well.

Maybe once you know some folks you could car pool? Just a thought, I know there are people who come from that area.

I'm new to Louisville and not quite sure what PRP means. Can someone enlighten me?
Thanks!

hi Terri,
PRP stands for Pleasure Ridge Park. It's the name for an area/town in Louisville/Jefferson County (like the Highlands or Shively). PRP is out in the southwest end of the county, and the write-in is held on Dixie Highway, which is a major street in this area. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions! :)

Hi, Terri---
PRP actually stands for Pleasure Ridge Park. It's kind of a neighborhood/suburb of L'ville. It's Southwest of downtown--maybe 20-25 min. drive, I'd guess.
