Charlottesville writers now have their very own region to call home. Co-MLs runkefer and swiftdust have already set up the forum and regional events calendar. I stopped by and they already have several introductions on their welcome thread.
If you decide to move over to the new Charlottesville region, we will be sorry to see you go but we know you will benefit from having your trusted MLs close to home. We hope you enjoyed your stay with us! Feel free to stop in on the forums or drop in at a write-in if you ever find yourself in our neck of the woods!
Good luck to you in November!
Susan

Hi Ray. Some regions only allow members to post on their forum. Joining a region gives you access to their forum allowing you to communicate with people in that region. You can have as many regional affiliations as you like from Virginia to Oregon but you can only call one your Home Region. Given your location the decision between Charlottesville and Shenandoah Valley is completely up to you. From your profile page click on "My Regions" on the left and then select the Regions tab. Once there you can simply click the join button next to any region. Once you join more than one region simply click on the Home tab and you can select one region as your Home Region. When you select a Home Region you will get regional updates direct from your ML. Your charitable donations and word count will apply to your Home Region's totals. In other words...the more the merrier!

Hi Ray!
Here is a little introduction to regions and associating with them that I did last year (and will most likely update this year too...) Some of the pages may look a bit different this year, but I think it gets the idea across.
