Hi! I'm in Vernon, is that close enough to count as a surrounding town? I seem to be the only one doing this in my area. I've attempted NaNo several times and haven't won yet, hopefully that will change this year. : ) I didn't participate the last year or two, so I should be ready to go this November!

This is my third yr....1st yr I finished a book....last ye I fizzled out....third try should be 'charmed' they say....hope for the best....I am waiting for inspiration to hit me, don'y have a clue what I am going to do....

Glad to hear I wasn't alone either!!! This is my fourth NaNo. I've completed but they're still in the 'Editing Nightmare' folder. Recently pulled one out and have started a major rewrite. This year I want to do a sequel to my YA book that just came out in August. Working Title will be 'RELINQUISH'. Lots of mystery and mayhem... muhahahah... and lots of fun... he's a teen with a mouth, LOL.
What is everyone wanting to do this year for NaNo?
Okay, now I'm excited! For awhile this area seemed like a NaNo black hole. :0)

This is my first time making a serious attempt, although I've somewhat tried twice before.

Hi! thanks for adding me as a buddy....I have been winding up loose ends so I can concentrate on this NaNo thingy! Now I need to get my thinking cap on and work out my story which will be a mystery once more. Seem to be stuck on them....Guess I will call it the "Library Caper" ???? now that sounds kinda dumb....maybe I better think of a different one....(smile).....

Titles are hard for me. Any ol' title will do for Nano. It's getting that rough draft down. And I can't seem to do anything but mysteries either, LOL! Love 'em! Mine just happen to have sarcastic teenagers in them. I've got a week to plot and plan.... muhahahahahaha..... My poor characters. What we make them go through for a story... *grin*
But one good thing is we get an extra hour on day one! :0)
