Here we all post up some stuff that makes us laugh, cry, or just plain feel like creating something.

I'll get the ball rolling with something I saw on family guy recently:

A wonderful Day for Pie

Also, here's my youtube channel where I make nonsensical schizophrenic parody cartoons. If you like that sort of thing...

I gotta say, the quickest way to inspiration town is rain. I've tried cds of rain and thunder sounds but it's just not the same. Coffee houses are great too. Third on my list are old timey creepy sounding songs... yeah I write a lot of weird stories.

For me, it's far too many things to count... but I have to say the primary thing is Music.

Techno, Disco, Rap, Classic, Choral, Rock, Alternative Rock... Lately it's actually been a Japanese song.

I get my characters from Music, and all the "Epic" plots come from music.

The next on my list would have to be reading History -- I know, boring, but there are a lot of things in History where things aren't quite talked about... Whether it be battles or mentioned romances between royal families, politicians, leaders, etc. along with all the "What if?" questions that follow.

I get a lot of inspiration from movies and tv shows. Finding Neverland always inspires me to write and I just watched the first season of Castle which left me itching for the keyboard. Funnily enough they are both about novelists heh.

I gotta agree with the rain comment. Either that or a blackout. But probably the most inspiring thing is roleplaying with friends. :3

I get my inspiration from music, as well. Sometimes I'll listen to a song and want to turn it into a story that details how the song came to be.

Mostly I get my inspiration from the world around me, though, and mostly history. I love reading historical novels, and I love writing them as well; but my obsession for accurate detail is more often than not a hindrance in my creative process. In other words...I over think things!

I get my inspiration when the girls (all 4 of them) are in bed and the dishes are done (or at least being ignored).
