I've designed my cover and a brief synopsis - just waiting for my new Moleskine notebook to arrive from Amazon and then I can start making notes. I have a plan! hehe

A Twist of Lime

Anyone else already preparing?

Very much so. Unfortunately, I have about three novels planned and can't decide between them. So I'm stuck in limbo until I do.

Go you. Moleskin, cover designs and everything!

Definetely preparing currently in process of outlining my novel to ensure that there is enough happening to last me to 50,000 words as last time i needed to completely replot it when it stopped at 20,000.

Oooh Scottish Diva, I like the cover :)

Hey Kevin, how are you? Will you be coming to the meets? I'm hoping we're still using Mono in Glasgow - it's a great space.

I'm back with the novel I began at Nano two years ago - hopefully I'll finish it this year!

Getting there! I've got a basic plotline, which should morph and evolve as I'm writing, like all my ideas do.

Not sure about title and cover though. I'll stew on that one.

I've got a general idea for storyline, but I need to do an exact plotline. The cover I'm working on but I'm not too fussed about that because neither my drawing nor Photoshop skills are much good so the cover won't be much good.

Hey, I see some of you were prepared much earlier than me! I also have about three plans to choose between - all of which have gone from vague ideas to pretty exactly plotted out in the past week. So nothing lost there, I'll probably stick with the front runner but can work on the other two another time. I'm so excited about getting started now, good that is starts on a Sunday maybe?

Hello everyone :)

This is my 1st NaNoWriMo and I'm really excited about the challenge!

I have a title (which may change!) and a basic idea of how I see my novel going. Although I usually start out with lots of ideas and then end up chopping and changing as I write! I definitely have a starting idea though to build on :)

I'm from Argyllshire, Dunoon to be exact, if there is anyone else in my area please say hi!

Less than an hour to go until the official start, shall I start tonight or sleep and start afresh tomorrow... decisions, decisions!

Look forward to meeting you all
