Is it a time-frame (ex. within a hour, or half-hour) word war? or an end of the month sort of thing....if it's at the end of the month, count me in!!

I'll be writing 100k this year, so...BRING IT ON, VERMONT.
But I still love them for their Vermont style cheese and maple syrup. :D

This will be my first year on this side of the challenge. I was at school in Vermont the last two years so I was over there going "yay! VT!" This will definitely be different.

I'd say "If we win, they throw us a cheese and maple syrup candy party" - but then if they won (not that they would) they'd say we had to provide lobster... maybe we shouldn't say that... er um, anyway, cheese and maple syrup sounds good... lol..
I should not try to write right when I get out of work, am I even making sense?

At the risk of being called a traitor, although my permanent residence is in Maine, I'm writing on behalf of Vermont this year since that's where I'm going to school and, as such, living for the time-being.
Having said that, I think a war between these two regions is an awesome idea, and really, both sides win that way!

TRAITOR!
No, I'm kidding, I'd be writing for Vermont too...you know, if I lived there. I love it there so much. D: Anyway...our team name should be THE VERMONT CRUSHERS! Or maybe we could go with something foolish, like Moose Mayhem. XD

Moose Mayhem is awesome!
How many of you have seen Lenny the Moose. He's made out of like 1700 pounds of PURE CHOCOLATE! He lives at a chocolate store called Len Libby's. Maybe he could be our Mascot?

I haven't seen this moose. D: What town is he in? The only giant thing I've seen in Maine is the Paul Bunyon statue in Bangor and the giant boot outside LL Bean's in Freeport...probably not the same, though.

Len Libby Candies is where Lenny the Moose is located on Route 1 Scarborough Maine. If I knew how to post his picture I would! he's taller than me (i'm five foot four)

Our Team Name is : Moose Mayhem
Our Mascot is : Lenny the 1700 LB Chocolate Moose
If anyone else would like to participate, just post here and I will add you to the list.
My advice is this, before November 1st we should all add eachother as writing buddies on our profiles, so it will be easy to tally the number of words each has done compared to our state total. (Some may not want to participate in the word war you see, boohoo for them!) Word counts shall be tallied weekly (week one, week two ect.)
There may or may not be another new thread regarding the word war with vermont somewhere else in the forums, I will keep you updated!

We feuded with Vermont a few years ago and I honestly don't even remember who won!
This is a great idea. Anytime there's a feud going on people seem to write more!
