Hi Nanos
Borders in Concord will offer their space and wifi free of charge, but it’s too late for them to add our group to their events calendar. No big whoop there.
We can meet in the café area or in the back of the store where they provide chairs to us.
The only caveat is that the weekends are their busy time, so we might not have peace in which to write.
I’d like to set this up for a kick-off on Sunday the 1st and subsequent write-ins every Tuesday evening from 5-8.
Can I get a quick show of hands on who might be interested in meeting at Borders?

I find often with write ins, if you post that you'll be there people sometimes will show up as well if they know about it. Even if they don't RSVP.

Hullo all, I'm at Borders at the moment, currently enjoying my cup of chai and doing my best to actually get some writing done. My kitten was all over my laptop the couple times I tried to get things done last night so I figure if I want to get anything accomplished I shouldn't try doing it at home. So here's hoping that I get something finished tonight other then several cups of tea. For those coming by, I've got a red mugnext to me that says "Can't Talk; Noveling", but feel free to ignore it say hi.

Tomorrow at 4 I’ll be at Border’s – depending on how crowded the café area is, I might be set up in any number of nooks around the store. If you come and don’t see anyone with a sign please look around the store, or ask at the information desk where the novelists are.
I’m hoping for a bigger crowd this week – the staff at Borders is very accommodating, and being surrounded by reference material helps ignite inspiration!
Has anyone had luck at other wifi hotspots around town? I tried writing at McDonald’s last week but the entire dining area only has one power outlet. It was a fine experience for me, I just don’t know if I’d invite the entire area there for a write-in.
