Hey guys!

It looks like we're still sharing the chatroom with Saskatoon, which is awesome btw, and this year I hope to see a larger presence from Regina there. I mean, c'mon, I was the only regular last year! Don't leave me alone with them again!

Why should you use the chatroom...? A) It's fun, B) it's like a write in without leaving your home! Word wars ftw! Last year we usually had about five or so people on at a time so it's not like it's too barren or crowded.

The chatroom is greatly improved from last year - it's on an IRC server, which means that you don't have to use your web browser to access it. If you're using firefox, I recommend that you install the ChatZilla plugin and use it for the chatroom. After you install chatzilla, all you have to do is click here to access the chatroom. (If you're using a different IRC client, server: irc.mibbit.com and channel: #sasknano.) If you just want to use the web interface, click here.

If anyone wants me to, I can put a list of useful IRC commands here. For starters, you can change your name by using "/nick aethre". For an action, type in "/me is jumping".

Oh, hai! Forgot to mention... if you can't make the write ins, just join the chatroom - there's generally always SOMEONE on and, if not, go bother #calgarynano. If you're on late at night, we do tons of word wars cuz we're all desperately trying to make our daily quotas, XD

Every night at seeeven~ Or whenever, rly.
