I'm in the Piedmont/Jacksonville area and was wondering if anyone else is in this neck of the woods who would like to try and get a group together for a write-in at some point?
Or maybe just for coffee and some brain storming?

Sounds great Tricia, just waiting to hear from others in this area if they would like to meet up here if they can not make it to java jolt as well as the writers group. I put an ad in the local paper here The Post which should be in next week and hopefully will get replies.
I plan on attending the Java Jolt, as well if any need to meet in Centre and/Gadsden as well. Glad there are others as excited about getting support out there.

We don't have another one set in stone yet, but the five of us had a great time (and even had the JavaJolt close around us) so we will definitely be planning another meet up/write in.
I'll be out of town at a medical convention most of this week - which will hopefully provide LOADS of writing time ;) - I have half days on Fridays, am available Sat and Sunday, and will be available most of Thanksgiving week.
What would be a good day/time for everyone else? If we're meeting at the Java Jolt on a Saturday we should plan on early so that we can be out of there by 2... or move to the McDonald's up the block. Also, if anyone has any other ideas for places, feel free. I'm pretty open to suggestion and am just happy to be meeting up with other writers.

How is Saturday, November 14th for everyone?
Since we now know the JavaJolt closes at 2, we could plan for 9am (which would give us plenty of time) and if we STILL want to write and haven't gotten sick of hanging around we could always migrate to the 24 hour McDonalds or someplace else in the area.

Piedmont McDonalds Meet-up for Friday?
I figure the McDonalds will be easier for everyone to fins as it's on the main drag of 278. If we decide it doesn't meet our needs, we can always move to the coffee shop.
I'll be working for a bit, but should be able to get out of the office by 12-12:30. Is 1pm good for everyone?
