Are there any other Nanos out there in Concord or Kannapolis (or anywhere close by?)? It would be great to set up a local group to meet when we can't get to Fort Mills, for instance.

I'm in the University area. Just one exit down on 485 so I can shoot up to Concord and North Lake, or down to Mint Hill-ish. Let me know if you want to make smaller gatherings other then the major write ins being planned when the calendar goes up.

Me and a couple of my friends are trying for NaNo in Concord. I'd really like to do a local thing.

I live in Concord! :D

A grass blade flashed with a gleam as it slashed open a moonbeam,
And I stared back breathlessly.
As mountains of fruit tumbled out, I barely had the chance to shout;
A strawberry avalanche crashed over me

I'm also in University. I suddenly have a large block of time open for Saturday. No clue where I'm going to write, but I'm going to try and go somewhere.

Mal (or anyone)-

Is there a good place to work on campus? I've always done well writing at college libraries in the past, but I've never been to the UNCC campus. I have a big block of time on Saturday (and Sunday) to write as well.

We do have the Concord Panera scheduled for Saturday morning. Check the calendar for the time.

I didn't spend much time there when I was a student. My friends and I would often walk to the public library. It's a really nice library at UNCC. Not a bad place to work.
