I found this on the nano forum a few years ago and I use it each year.

Thought you all might like it.

I have put it on my site, but if you have trouble accessing it shoot me your email and I will send it to you through there.

Cheers!

I can't survive during Nano without this spreadsheet ... its comforting yellow background, its angry red numbers telling me my novel will be finished on May 5, 2010. haha, thanks!

Yep, that's what gets me... that annoying part that says 'at this rate you will be done by MARCH 2010" haha.

Hi,

This looks good however the columns that are supposed to do automatic calculations aren't working for me.
What should I do to fix?

Cheers,
Annie

Yeah, the grey columns don't have any formulae in them, which means it's impossible for them to calculate values for you. It doesn't look like a compatibility error, though I am using Office 2007 and it looks like it was created in the 2003 version.

So, troubleshooting...Are the grey columns working for anyone else, apart from Rachel? Or Rachel, could it be linking to an old/outdated version of this template?

Will have to look at the version I have on my laptop at home (once I get home from work)

Will let you know then.

OK, it was my fault. I had deleted the formulas by accident.

Replaced the file -- should be good to go now.

Just checked it, and it works now. Looks awesome. I think this will become a very valuable tool for me.

Just downloaded again...
What a great spreadsheet... although I can't guarantee I might not feel very fondly towards it if I run into writer's block!

Cheers and thanks for sharing :)
