As you may have seen from the Region page headers, I have scheduled the write-ins as I can make them. I have nine listed, most of which are up and down Street Road from Warrington to Bensalem.

I don't think we have heard from anyone farther north than Doylestown? I did schedule one write-in for the Doylestown Starbucks, where we met last year. But almost everyone who could meet there, could also meet in Warrington, where most of the write-ins are scheduled.

If you want a write-in further north or south of the ones I have already listed, please don't hesitate to plan one. Everyone should feel free to plan their own write-in and let everyone else know you are holding one. I do ask that if you choose a setting where there is a waiting staff, that you leave a good tip, even if you only order drinks, because we like to keep in the good graces of people who spend their days on their feet waving pots filled with hot coffee at us!

(One reason why all my selected places are Panera or Starbucks or Wegman's, where there is limited or no wait staff.)

Also, Xavernus is acting as a co-ML this year, and will be scheduling further write-ins during the week days, so keep a look out for alternative times and places from her.

I hope you all can make it to at least one write-in!

I was just wondering what Wegmans you all are referring to? I'm aware of at least three north of myself, and I'd hate to show up at the wrong one!

DO you mean the Starbucks on Street Road across from Mikes Bar and Grill?

And I've done NANO before but I've never done any meet ups before, how does everyone recognize each other and isn't it a little akward?

The Starbucks in Doylestown is at the corner of Main and W State St.

Meet ups are always a little awkward, and lots of fun. You look for the person in the screaming yellow shirt and say "NaNoWriMo?" And I say, "Yes, Hi!"

:)

Just bring your writing equipment and your cheerleading squad.

So is the screaming coming from the shirt, or from you wearing the shirt? :P "WHY DIDN'T YOU ACCUSE ME OF MURDER!? I HAVE MY ALIBI RIGHT HERE!"

Also of note, my cheerleading squad consists of a rock and a rabbit. Who knew?

Due to the small quirk of Wegman's actually having a restaurant license and objecting to us bringing outside food to the place, we will hold any Wegman's write-ins at Borders, across the street.

Borders now has free wifi! and the coffee bar, of course. :)

I will be at the Borders with my cookie dough pie and my NaNoWriMo '08 shirt! I'll be with my mom, who has bright red hair, so you won't be able to miss us. While I'm busy writing she plans to shop around Wegman's. (: See you guys tomorrow at 2!

I'll be wearing jeans and a some phillies shirt I have. I'll probably also have a bag from Wegmans as I'll probably grab something for lunch from there.

I'd love to be there, but unfortunately I'm sick and mom said I can't go for today. I'm with you in spirit and I'm definitely writing! ;) 2000 words and counting!

Yay words!

and whatever it is that's going around, everyone guard against it! I know of at least one person in my writing forum that has been totally wiped out this weekend, and probably will not be in any kind of shape to do anything till tuesday.

Well, everyone. I was hoping to go to Borders, but my writing was going so well here in Doylestown that I didn't want to interrupt the flow! (Yea!)

By the way, Rhianna, I am a dreamer as well as a writer, and this morn I was dreaming about my novel and my writing and the name "Rhiannon" - as in Welsh Goddess of the horse, appeared as an element to consider adding to my story. How synchronistic, eh?

Looking forward to meeting some or all of you by month's end.

Blessed writing, everyone!
