So I posted this last year, though nothing really came of it (I'm lazy... what can I say?) so I'm going to make another attempt. Have we got any NaNo participants at the University of Winnipeg? Anyone who wants to get together, do some writing, hang out, etc? |

Well, I'm a U of W alumni... Not quite what you were asking. :) I would be interested if you university-goers would ever want to have a write-in at the good ol' U of W during the day, however. Most of the Regional Event times don't work for me in the evenings, seeing as the bus line that runs through Winnipeg to Selkirk has a horrible evening schedule. Either of you sound interested?

Shachil: Sorry - I know the evening write-out schedule sucks for out of towners, but there's this whole having to pay the rent thing that Heather and I need to work around, and my boss is understanding - but not THAT understanding... *wink* Maybe some of you could car pool or something after you've met a couple of times?
And can I count as an alumni? I mean, I never DID finish so I suppose I'm probably still on the books somewhere....

Yeah, no, I totally understand that. Don't worry! :) That's the downside of living in a rural area and not owning a car myself. Goodness knows why I made that decision. But we'll see how it goes this year - maybe I'll actually manage to catch a write-in!
(I think we all wish bosses were so understanding. That would be nice. ^__^)

I'm a U of W NaNoWriMo writer. This is my second year. I have massive exams coming up just after November. But I wouldn't mind getting some writing sessions in at the library or something. But add me as a friend on here and we'll see what we can get done. Talk to you later.
