Because I know I'm not the only one who uses the forums to procrastinate :P

I, for one, am avoiding an essay that's due on Tuesday. Two thousand words on why Hitchcock punishes blondes. Argh argh argh. Why do I pick essays which only sound awesome?

In about an hour, I'll be procrastinating getting ready for work. Or maybe I'll get ready NOW to avoid this essay...hmmmm...

So, what are you procrastinating?

1000 word essay on whether testing for thalassaemia should be compulsory. Assignment sheet failed to mention whether it was talking about testing the parents for thalassaemia minor or the fetus for thalassaemia major so I sort of have an excuse. Also, I can't remember whether it was due tomorrow or Friday : \

NaNo's more important anyway -cough-

Eeep! I'm not gonna lie, I had to google what thalassaemia is <<;

Go with tomorrow, then you'll have a week of freedom if it's due on Friday! (I should really follow my own advice, instead of just handing things up late all the time...)

As expected, it's now an hour later and I'm avoiding getting dressed. I'm so clever.

So much as even _looking_ at my TODO list. I don't even want to think about it.

Also, up until about a minute ago, getting up to get some water. I was really thirsty, but too lazy to stand up.

Ah, going shopping for the fortnights meals. And that's because to do that would mean to admit that my days off are coming to an end and I'll have to go back to work. It's so sad...

I am avoiding (this is a massive list, so I'm sorry!):
- the Marketing tute that is due tomorrow
- an assignment website due the day after I go to Melbourne next week (yeah, really needs to be finished before I leave)
- my portfolio website that will actually earn me MONEY but I can't be bothered working on
- my Marketing essay that's due on Friday
- my Media essay
- unpacking my overnight bag from last night

I'm just a procrastinator. :/

I'm avoiding anything to do with uni at the moment. I've even organised most of the Kick Off instead.

At least it's constructive procrastination, right?

My 1500-2000 word sociology essay about the media and its role in gender stereotypes. I have done most of it, but I've just got to add a little bit more and I keep putting it off - I have been for the last week. I would have done it today, but I went to work and then to the movies and out for tea instead. :P Watching 'Fame' and having pizza with friends is way better than essay writing. My goal is to finish it tomorrow, with the important word being "goal". We'll see if it gets done. :P

My poetry questions. I thought I should have at least something done of the long list of holiday homework for English, but I'm on the forum instead. There's also a poetry essay, a paired texts essay, and a reflection on the year (an excuse for another assignment I think) due tomorrow just for English. Not happening. I also have a psych test tomorrow. I won't bore you with the rest of the list.

I am now avoiding my assignment website, which turns out not to be an assignment website but another report about how I will make my assignment website next assignment. Much more boring than making the website, methinks. But hey, I got most of my marketing stuff done this morning. :)

I'm avoiding Psych Assignment A, Psych Assignment B, Religions Assignments A, B & C, and something about a weekly journal entry for another Psych topic. Blegh.

Oh. And I'm avoiding getting out of bed. <<;

I'm avoiding doing household chores... namely washing the dishes, which i loathe. Also avoiding getting two assignments done early when clearly my time can be better spent... I'll do them tomorrow and then it'll be fine! Yeah... like that's gonna happen.

At this instant, I'm avoiding work.

I had to leave my shift early because I'm now at home sick with a bad cold. Normally, this wouldn't stop me, but I'm working with really sick children, and I'm running low on reserves myself.

Bedtime for me. :(

Wrazn, your signature quote makes me laugh EVERY TIME.

I'm still avoiding my essay. Bah. I've been reading a class novel all morning, which I thought was an acceptable way to avoid the essay, but now I've finished the novel.

Hmmm, maybe I'll find food now... that's an acceptable form of procrastination, right?

Housework! Always housework. There are dishes soaking in the sink.

I'm also procrastinating planning for this novel. The closest I've got is re-reading my notes and the few pieces of story I have from my first attempt at it. I should actually make notes on what I have and then lock all the old stuff away. I also think I need to rename my characters.

Starting a new job this week probably hasn't helped with Nano prep. My brain is full from all the info I need to take in.

I wouldn't worry about procrastinating the essay too much, you've still got a whole weekend to do it in ... but then, I always did only start my assignments the morning that they were due - its incredible what it does for your typing speed when you really really need to get it all on the page in a limited time frame

I find it hard to believe that people haven't been avoiding things for the last 6 days or so... C'mon... 'Fess up!

I'll go first.

RIGHT NOW I'm avoiding finishing my assignment that's due at 11.30 tonight. I'm half way through but it's just tedious stuff (I need to design an intervention around goal setting theory... see... tedious) and I'm avoiding doing readings for the assignments due next week.

Oh. And dishes. I hate dishes. Dishes are the bane of my existence (and a few other things but mostly dishes)

Come on! What are you avoiding?

Catching up on almost an entire semester of Microeconomics.
That and studying for exams.

I'll be amused if exams roll around and I end up writing instead of studying.

I always seem to forget to study for exams. There's only one I need to study for anyway: the rest are easy.

But now I have a chem essay due tuesday, and it's difficult, and stupid. there's also an English essay due monday.
