The last one I saw in theaters was 'Inglorious Basterds' and it was fabulously off-beat in a wacky, darkly-humored, gory, Nazi-bashing kind of way. I call it the 'feel-good World War II movie of the century.'
On a similar note, if you have the time and money to go to the movies, I hate you. No, really, a deep-down kind of loathing that makes my belly burn as if I just drank a bottle of Wild Turkey and am contemplating vomiting on you.
But I promise not to actually throw up on your shoes if you take me with you next time!

I just recently saw it too, and still haven't finished the 7th book yet...
WHICH I CAN'T YET.... cause my mom is reading it right now.....
*ducks*
That sucks. If I had known, you could have borrowed mine. But it's packed and stored somewhere in a 5x5 unit literally filled with books. Have you tried the library?
I admit, I am super-nerd and I took time off work the day it released so I would have uninterrupted reading time. And it is fabulous!

Eh, it shouldn't take long before she is finished with it I bet. and the library hates me ... at least in the taking books out department for something that happened over 10 years ago ;)

Agree with Josh that Zombieland is fantastic. A plusplusplus. I also saw Paranormal Activity, and I screamed out loud in the theater. An actual scream of terror. It was delicious.

I just watched Wolverine with the family. It was great! I want to see Zombieland, but I'm not a big fan of blood and gore.

I went to see Jennifer's Body a couple of weekends ago, and it was actually really good. ...also bloody, which is not my thing. But good.
Also I recently watched To Have and Have Not, which is absolutely ridiculous but includes a lot of awesome Bogie/Bacall time. So yay.

District 9 is the best movie I've seen in years.
If you haven't seen it, stop wasting your time on this board and go watch it!
Also, what is this "Harry Potter"?
