Following is a master list of all of the Write-Ins scheduled for November. For those of you who have never been to a Write-In before, Write-Ins are events where participants gather together to, well, WRITE! So, bring your laptops (or pen and paper, if you prefer) and prepare to have fun conversations, and get a lot done! Many people at previous Tallahassee Write-Ins reached their word count for the day (over 1,667 words) and beyond. There will be a total of eight official Write-Ins during November, and we would love it if you would attend.
We have two primary locations, Panera Bread and the Leon County Library. If you prefer a quiet, academic writing atmosphere, come to the library meetings. If you prefer a cafe-style, laid back writing atmosphere, attend the Panera meetings. I (Rachel) will be hosting the meetings at the library. Maggie (PearlRose) will be hosting the Panera meetings.
Please note that the Main Library does NOT allow food or drink in their meeting rooms. However, refreshments will be served at the Northeast Branch Library meeting, and you are free to bring your own snacks. Since the staff at Panera is kind enough to let us sit there for hours on end, we ask that you please buy something (even if it's just a soda or pastry) to show your appreciation.
All of these events are listed on the Google Calendar. If you have one, you can click the link in the header of our regional page and add it to your own calendar.

As of right now, there might NOT be a ML at the Official Write-In for Sunday, November 29th, but that may change. If you would like to go to Panera and write anyway, feel free--we've made it an official write-in to encourage people to go out and attend! :) Obviously we encourage writing adventures that take place outside of your home!
EDIT: There WILL be an ML present at the November 29th Panera Bread Write-In! Maggie will be out of town for the holidays, so Rachel will be there to cheer you all on. :)

I'm definitely interested in joining one of these sessions, though not initially sure which would be better for me. I definitely prefer the cafe atmosphere over the library (too damn quiet at the latter for my liking), but it's at some odd hours for me compared to Saturday. I'll be coming all the way from Crawfordville to join in on the insanity, so it's a bit of a drive either way.

Thanks so much for setting all of these up! I can't wait to come join in the fun! Hopefully work won't keep me too much from participating in the write-ins. =)

Yeah, I wonder how many people at these things will be under 18, or care that I am. I think I'll probably try and get my parents to drive me 'round to one of these next weekend.

No one will care that you're under 18. We like people of all ages. XD

Not at all! I started writing as a kid and into my teens. I think it's great you've found something you love and a group to share it with.
