We just got our very own chatroom (special thanks to karalianne, creator of NaNo chatrooms and fulfiller of dreams).
Here's how it works:
1. Click the link.
2. Click CHAT NOW!
3. Log into the chat with your NaNo username.
4. Once you're logged in, type /msg nickserv register your_password email@address.com (replace "your_password" with whatever you want your password to be and "email@address.com" with the email you want your confirmation code sent to; no one else in the chat will see this information, just you and the chat server).
5. You will get an email with your confirmation code.
6. Log back into the chat and you'll be asked to identify your username, cut and paste your confirmation code into the chat.
Congrats, you're registered!
Next time you log in, you'll be asked to type /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password (replace "password" with your password, no one will see this line except you and the chat server). Then you'll be logged in.

And here's my actual question: since we have the chatroom, who would like to have weekly virtual meet-ups?
What days/times are good for you?
(The chatroom is available any time and everyone is welcome to use it, I just figured that scheduling coordinated meet-ups would result in there being more than one person in there at a time.)

That would be sweet to meet up in a chatroom sometime. I don't really care when, just let me know and I'll be there :)

I'd be very interested in a virtual meetup.
My schedule is pretty fluid, so it's hard to confirm a time that will be good in two weeks.

I know I would be very interested in meeting in the chatroom with the other writers in the area. :-)
I think the weekend would be best for those that work right? I don't right now because I am a full-time student so my schedule is more fluid. I would throw my hat in for Saturday in the afternoon or early night. What does everyone else think?
