While I haven't technically been living in Cypress for over a decade, my parents still reside there. I graduated from Cy-Fair in '95.

I was eavesdropping on this forum to see if there were other WriMos in the 77429. This will be my first attempt at NaNoWriMo, so I'm trying to connect myself with as many communities as I can to keep myself motivated!

Oh, and if anyone plans a write-in at Los Cucos, I will be insanely jealous. Northern California simply has no clue when it comes to the creation of the almighty fajita. And there are no free chips. I hate paying extra for chips.

Good luck Houstonians and Cypress-dwellers!

Hello dream!

Finally, it's a pleasure to see another Cypress-onian! Welcome to NaNoWriMo!

I just moved back here from DC, and this will be my THIRD NaNo!

It's always kind of wild and crazy, but writing together with pals is a blast.

I LOVE Los Cucos!! And I'm not far from it at all. I'll have a yummy shrimp quesadilla in your honor next time I'm there. LOL

Thanks Haunted.
I didn't realize how long ago I signed up. I started that first year, then lost my motivation. Then I tried again, gave up again, then didn't try again until now. I'm ready for it this year though. Book or bust!!

Well, I'm not technically in Cypress any longer, but I'm not far from it. I'm between 249 and I-45, off the Beltway. We just moved over here from the Cypress area in September. I really liked the Cypress area alot, but it is a bit pricey!!

I'm here too... we should have a write-in at Cy-Fair College Library or even the Bear Creek Library. I'm right off of W.Little York and Eldridge. I'll be between the Inner Loop if anyone needs a ride and West Houston/Cypress area.

I'm pretty close to Cyprees. I am near HWY 6 and 290. If you have a get together let me know.

I'm not too far from Lonestar (Cy-Fair) College. I'll contact the library and see about reserving a room.

What day and time are best for everyone? Email me with your suggestions at dream_2_write@yahoo.com and we can try to coordinate something.

I was off work the past 2 days and planned to send the 2 year old to the babysitter and write all day -- both days. Guess what. It didn't happen.....

To force myself to write, I am banishing myself to the far corner of the 2nd floor of the Lonestar (Cy-Fair) College library if anyone wants to join me. I'll be here until at least 3 today.

wearing a maroon t-shirt, white capris, and flip flops.

I love the Cy-Fair HCPL. :D
Except I've only got a desktop. If there are comps there though (which...I don't really remember if they've got any, and if so, whether they're in comfy places x.x) I'd ttly come. My word count is severely lacking.

We should organize something. :3 (preferably a weekend morning. 'cause I'm pretty sure we've all got our own lives and weekend afternoons/evenings are usually busy...?)
