Anyone here from the Canandaigua area? It would be nice to have a meeting closer to home.

I'm in the Canandaigua area! I actually live in Phelps, but I work at the Canandaigua Wegmans, so I'm in town a lot. My work hours are pretty much the opposite of the rest of the world, which makes meet-ups pretty hard for me usually. It would still be great to have a local buddy, if you're interested.

Reassessing what I'm writing about for the third time now. Hope I make up my mind before November... Silly fantasy, paranormal YA, or post-apocalyptic steampunk-ish dark fantasy?

I live in Canandaigua, I would love to meet the both of you so we can support each other. Let me know when and where. We have Wood Library Here, and Phoenix Coffee, which I love.

Thanks,
Don

I live just outside Canandaigua and would love to get together. I have a quirky work schedule but can probably be where ever you are.

I work full time during the week, but I'm sure we can figure something out. You know, I've never been to Pheonix cafe, but I've always wanted to stop there. There's also Panera Bread which can be a nice meeting spot if you hit it at the right time (when it's not too busy).

I'm at college near Ithaca now, but I live outside of Naples and I'll be home over Thanksgiving. If you guys do a meet during that week I'd like to go.

Should we try to arrange something for next weekend considering that's when Nano starts?? What's everyone's availability & schedules like??

I actually live up in Marion, but spend a lot of time in Canandaigua. I could be up for a gathering...

Sounds great. How about Friday?
It might be hard Saturday because it is Halloween. But I am flexible.

I'm not sure how good this friday is and I know that Saturday is Halloween, but I could do it that morning around 10:30 or 11:00...it's easier to find someone to watch the kids for a bit. If not this weekend then we can plan for something more into November. What's everyone else's schedule's look like?

I suggest we all become writing buddies, just click on each member's profile and "add buddy". I will start with everyone in this thread, because I know they're close or in Canandaigua.

Let me know, Friday or Saturday works, I just need to know a time. Panera Bread Is now closed. Simply Crepes is right across the street from me, and I know the manager really well.

Don

aww, missed the first one. I live on the other side of canandaigua, in a motel near the old p and c and don't have a car... I work at volunteers of america and big lots. If anyone wants to meet up, add me or something :)

I'm right next door--in Farmington. A meet up would be awesome somewhere in Canandaigua. I also frequent Victor, so I'll have to find some writing haunts and offer a few suggestions. :)

We are planning on scheduling a write in on Sunday at Wood Library around 2. Have to check with library to see if we can score one of their conference rooms upstairs. Will let you guys know for sure this week.

Happy writing!

There's Borders in Victor, but that might be too far for some people. Is it sad that I can't think of any other places in canandaigua that would be a nice place for a write-in?
