I am from Canmore as well and this is my first Nanowrimo. I think its a great idea for a writing meetup. Also, how do I see other people who are part of this group? All I can see is the people in the posts.

To search people you have the option of just scrolling through the "introduce yourself" post or you can go to Search (at the top) and then click on authors and then click on Click for advanced search options and then either search your home reigion (which should be Alberta: Elsewhere) or you can type something like Alberta or Canmore or Lethbridge ect into location

Hey for anyone in Canmore, I was thinking Beamer's might be a nice place for small write-in's / gatherings durring nano. They have wireless for those of us who have laptops and plenty of comfortable seating and wonderful treats and cafinated drinks alike.
Usually in the evenings they are fairly quiet too. Well anyone who's in Canmore and wants to maybe meet up let me know! Trust me, write ins are one thing that make nano amazing!

I just sent out a private message to the few of us who are in canmore asking about days, times and which Beamers location works best. So check your mail boxes here and let me know. With only a few of us, I am more than sure we can pick a good day to meet up!

Hey for the Canmore writers

I'll probably be at Beamers (on 7th) around 6pm on November 1st (either armed with my laptop or my notebook and pen) if ya wanna meet up I'll be there, probably with my orange coat and a black hooded sweatshirt. So let me know or just show up I'll probably be there for an hour ot two (maybe longer if others hang out!)

I just moved here from another reigion so I have no idea if there were write ins but I adore them! They are super helpful! And I am always up for writing with someone else
