I think it makes it hard on those of us in the Clarksville/Fort Campbell area because it straddles both Kentucky AND Tennessee! Let's see who we've got from Clarksville over here!
I'm soma checking in! Just moved from OKC where we had a good group of more than twenty people meeting once a week all through November! Won each year for the past two years and looking for a new group to hang out with and talk book around! (Gotta get away from the crazy room mates who don't understand!) Holler at me; let me know you're alive!

Hello! Me and another gal go to APSU and were thinking about setting up something. If we can find a few people interested in getting together it would be great!

Well Cheno beat me to the reply! I was going to say the same thing. We're thinking of getting together on the APSU campus, but that's not set in stone yet!

I could EASILY make the APSU campus, though I have to say I'm an MMTC student and going there always makes me feel self-conscious! LOL!
Just keep us all informed and I'll do what I can!

Don't let it make you feel self-conscious, anyone who is trying to better themselves has no reason to to feel self-conscious. Besides we haven't set anything in stone yet! It would be nice to find a few more people in the area, even from Hopkinsville or Fort Campbell, if we did then we would need to move to a more central location! :D

I'd definitely be in for meeting somewhere in clarksville. I know one of the write-in's will be hosted at the blue note so definitely going to that one but otherwise it's all in the nashville area and driving up there all the time can get expensive.

I'm up for meeting here in Clarksville or somewhere close...Ft Campbell, Oak Grove, Hoptown...might not be able to make all the meetings, but I'll certainly try to make it to some of them :)

I didn't know about the Blue Note write-in. I am setting it up Wednesday to be in Einsteins on the APSU campus for November 1st. They open at 3 pm and close at 10 pm, so we'll have plenty of time and the coffees good (though the flavored ones are a bit expensive.).

When is the one at the Blue Note? I hadn't seen that.
Faewood, isn't November 1st a Sunday? If so I will be there! (As long as you know, something tragic doesn't happen)

I am here in Clarksville this is my second year I won last year. I am excited and a little worried this go around. My husband was deployed last year, but he is home this year and although he is very supportive he is not sure if I have not lost my mind completely this time.
I would love to be part of a group-- I think --never had the opportunity to be part of a writing group-- It is a little scary to think there might me more people in the world as crazy as me. lol

I live in Murray, KY, but my parents live in Clarksville and I'm there every other weekend. I'd love to go to a writing meetup if there's one I can make it to! :D

Renner, glad to have you!! This is my second year also. My writing group last year was small (Chenoadawn and I!), I'm looking forward to more people this year! As you may have seen from earlier posts I am planning a write-in on the 1st on the APSU campus; I will post more information once I have the location verified.
Thanks!

I would love to get involved in some of these events. I have 6 kids and one on the way so...yeah, we'll see how it goes this year. The past 2 years I tried to do it from overseas but there was always something getting in the way. Plus, there was little support in English! Anyway, nice to know there are a few writers in the area.

I've already called and they are prepared for us, they also have free wi-fi. If I go out of town Saturday I may be running late getting there, but we don't have to reserve a spot or anything so we'll be good to go regardless! Look forward to seeing everyone on the first!

I'm new to the Clarksville area and think it would be great to meet some other nanomowriters! I may be able to stop by Border's for a bit on Sunday and I have wanted to check out the Blue Note Cafe, so a write-in seems like a good excuse to finally do so.
