We have three large meeting rooms scheduled for us. Because of the availability and locations it's an odd day, but I'm hoping we can get enough people to come so it's worth it! We've got 30 chairs to fill! Details are on the calendar link.
November 23 (Monday) We have Lakewood Library meeting room #1 (on the right side) from 11:30 AM - 6. If you can arrive early and help me set up please show up at 11. Same with tearing down after.
November 28 (Saturday) We have Puyallup Library's North meeting room from 10:15 AM to 1 PM. If you can arrive early and help me set up please come at 10. Same with tearing down after.
November 30 (Monday) We have PAC Administration Room from 10:30 AM-3:30 PM. Same goes, if you can arrive early and help me set up please show up at 10. Same with tearing down later.
If anyone would like to schedule a roving write-in please contact Trilli. Add to the thread hear and meet other writers closer to your area!
Let's make this a great opporotunity to increase our writing count!

I work in the mornings so I may be late. Since I only have to be at work though if I have massages if I can I will be there early to help set up. Thanks.

23rd is Lakewood Library's meeting room on the right hand side as you go in. The 30th is at the Pierce County Processing Administration Center. It's centrally located and I know they had write ins there last year. Check out location here: http://www.piercecountylibrary.org/map/default.aspx?id=612

The write-ins in Puyallup are a little out of the way for me. However, since both Bertolino Bros and Mandolin Cafe have been used in the past and I am somewhat-ish close to both, I will be at one those two spots with my raccoon and/or red panda stuffed animals.

Are you planning on being at the coffee shops in Tacoma on one of the weekends in November? Or perhaps a weeknight? I live in Federal Way and that's where I met up with a couple of writters last year.
Also, anyone else live in Federal Way or Fife and want to meet up out there?

I haven't quite decided yet. I just heard back about possibly getting employment from 20-00 each weeknight. So any meeting up will have to before that time or possibly on the weekends. I don't have anything planned just yet (and really, I normally never plan this sort of thing as it is).
----------Also, other places to possibly find me during the coming month are Origin 23° on 6th & Union, Cutter's Point on 6th and Orchard(?), and the Diversions Café on the UPS campus. If you have a particular date/time you'd like to meet up and such, let me know and we'll make it happen.

Do we need to RSVP for a write-in? My other question is: How long are the write-ins at the starbucks??

You don't have to RSVP for a regular write-in. We had room for 10 yesterday and had only 5 come. But I will be setting up a thred for for the RSVP for the head count on the two big write ins at the end of the month. (I'm going to do that next week so as not to hit everyone with everything at once.) As for times,if you click on the calendar at the top right it will show you how long the write-ins are for. You don't have to come to the whole thing if you don't want to, but if you're like me and like to get your word count up, it's agood idea! (I got 3000 words in during yesterday's writein) It's healthy for your book, and the sound and energy in the room is awesome. Try it. You might just like it. Plus they have coffee...

I can be there for that one and should be able to help with set up and possibly tear down, I'm not as sure on that one. I'll be glad to see you there, though I plan on seeing people tomorrow at the starbucks.

I'd like to say thank you to all those Nano's who came to the Madaline Cafe on Thursday night. We had a relatively large group at 6 (counting myself) and it was an enjoyable experience. We'll be there again next week and depending on group size and the availability of the room, I might rent the private room in the back so we can write all together. And as a special request, in men in the area, please feel free to come. The one lone male to came is requesting this in order to provide a bit of balance!
Hope to see you all next Thursday and any Nano's who wish to come out and write with your fellow insane neighbors!
Lauren

I might be able to make it to the one on the 23rd. Depending on gas money and what I have going on with family. If I do not make it to that one, then I should be able to make it to the one on the 28th at least. I need to make it to at least one for the season. Hopefully I will make it to one of the earlier ones, but these look the best so far. 20k words and climbing. Still got plenty of time on a 24 hour shift to go so I can crank the word count up there even more. Trying to hit 40k by the morning time. Might not happen, but a guy can have a goal right? LOL. Best of luck to all the fellow Washington Nano'ers.

I went to my first ever write in last night. I loved it! I'm still a bit sore from laughing. I also learned about the infectious zombies, I never thought I would worry about such a thing.

I'll be at the Commons Mall today at 4pm writing it up, hopefully not by myself again. Although I do seem to get a lot down, but that might be because the lack of WiFi on my computer.
