I've blogged each of my Nano novels. I've found having an audience breathlessly waiting for the next installment quite motivating. I've built kind of a rabid following over the last several years. There aren't many of them, but they get squirelly if not placated with new fiction. ;)
Anyway, here's where this year's novel will live: http://holyrollers-immortals.blogspot.com/
Here's a description of the plot: When Death becomes too depressed to get out of bed and do his job, people stop dying. Chaos and creation erupt as humanity's fear of death vanishes. Accountants become daredevils. Repressed geniuses unleash their great works. And certain gods get pissed off by mankind's newfound cheekiness and refusal to die when properly killed. Our favorite unemployed biker deities return to restore the natural order until Death cheers up enough to resume his work.
So, will you be blogging your novel? If so, post your URL!

I'm thinking about it, but I'm afraid of showing off how utterly rough this draft is going to be.

Last year I just kept pasting the whole caboodle to the NaNo "excerpt" area - since before I knew there was a limit to the post. Well, there wasn't one in '08 so I just kept pasting and pasting for the heck of it. Did anyone care? Debatable. ;)
I was thinking about doing a blog style thing this year, but I ended up posting the rough first run on the blog I set up last year I *thought* I'd use to blog about the actual writing.

I'll be updating daily at Livejournal (http://adelaiide-rocks.livejournal.com). I'm not doing one specific plot, I'm focusing on my characters in my universe The Institute, so it won't necessarily be continious from one day to the next, but I'm hoping for less writer's block.
Come read ^_^

Joining in on the group of people blogging this year. Since this novel won't be a completely serious attempt nor something I intend to get published, I figure blogging it would be a great way to get my writing out there and hopefully gain some new fans.
My blog is http://timariusnoirnelend.blogspot.com/ and I've already got a few of my pieces up, be it short prose or poetry and even one set of lyrics made when bored. Over the next week, I intend to take the time to read everything posted here. It might help me get to know you all better.
Good luck, and sorry to pop up late.
