who else here is getting a little fidgety?
I know i am. I've already got my last line planned. i haven't been able to write it anywhere, because that'd be cheating! :( so, anyways, 17 days-ish and it seems like forever.
*fidget*
i may start writing a different novel just so i can write...
but i really want to begin a novel on nov. 1 and finish on nov. 30.
so...
i'll sing to myself to prohibit the voice in my head from telling me to write.
La...La...La...

...
how about a little noveling discussion?
do you have any events planned out? (specifically subplots or word-fillers, not general or main story arcs)

I know how you feel! I am so anxious to get started on this thing. I have the first ten chapters all planned out in an outline, but I want to do so much more! I've been busying my time by writing backstory, or writing about my MC when she was younger. Anything that doesn't actually fit into the story I have planned. I'm slowly starting to run out of ideas, though, so I might have to turn to more extreme measures. I'm not sure what those will be, though.

Ah! Two more weeks of this!

I'm awful at outlining. Simply awful. instead of that, i've just got a bunch of mixed up jumbled up scenes/events that i hope will happen sometime during the plot.

Indeed! I must dive into the pool of words and hope it isn't the shallow end :) (metaphorically speaking, of course.
if there were a pool of words big enough to dive into, it'd be an enormous amount of words in either end...hmmm....)

I feel like a dog with a flea she can't scratch.
I spent quite awhile last night outlining chapters and then came to a dread point where I said "OH NO WHERE WILL IT GO FROM THERE?????" After a hysterical 30 seconds I realized that the 'middle' I had planned was actually the END. I took a deeeep breath and then stuck in a bit of filler here and there. The outline took to it beautifully.

I have no doubt that within two days the outline will be scratched to smithereens.

Well, it's been three days now. Is the outline still intact?
