I know there were a few Yorkites in the Location, Location, Location thread. And there will be a dedicated spot. I'll be calling this weekend to firm up the spot with the gentleman.
The York Emporium - a book store where the owner is a published author himself. He has a big table and free wifi to be used. :)

I just got confirmation tonight. We will be meeting on October 31st at the York Emporium, located at 343 West Market St. in York, starting at 10am. If 11 or 12 is better, please let me know so that I can keep him informed as to when we'll be there. This place is a HUGE (1900 sq ft) used book store and the owner is a published author himself who is offering the space. Just keep in mind that there will be customers walking around as well and he stated that Saturdays are a busy day. The store is open to 6pm.

Izandria would be my ride to any York events so as long as I'm not scheduled to work that morning, I'll be able to come.

If I don't work Saturday, which is a 50/50 chance, I should be there. I won't know that until later in the week. Though I'd love to go if possible.

I'm glad there are people in the York area! I'm down south of York a bit but York is much closer for me than Harrisburg or Gettysburg!
I should hopefully be attending on Saturday. What exactly do we need for a kick off event?

Actually, York's Kick off is tomorrow. You can bring a notebook and pen. that's about it. The kick off is just a meet and greet so you can see the other people who will be joining in.

I'm confused-- is York's kick off on Friday 10 30 or Saturday 10/31? If it's Saturday, I will be there. If Friday, I'm at work :-(
